Sometimes I feel like Instagram makes you feel like you need to be this spiritual, always enlightened and positive person when idk, I don’t think that’s reasonable. And don’t get me wrong, a lot of what is said is correct and important. No one likes someone who lives a life without purpose, drive, and overall doesn’t care a bit about anything - driving themself to quite frankly a state of nothing.
You are allowed to be sad.
You are allowed to complain.
You are allowed to be negative sometimes.
You are allowed to take time off, not be perfect, and be the imperfect human that we all are.
If you do/are any of the things I listed constantly and are not letting yourself reach the potential you are able to achieve, that’s a different story. But sometimes, it’s okay to just feel like a shitty person! And no, you don’t need to go through a whole revelation after it. It’s possible to just feel not so great, let yourself be down in the dumps, and then pick yourself back up the next day or two.
Obviously my two cents. But I think trying to be this always enlightened and changing person that Instagram promotes can be exhausting. Have to just let yourself be low once in a while 🤷🏻♀️ Agree? Disagree? Any thoughts?

Huge leg day!!!! Started by a light warmup set of hack squats and then went to goblet squats. I did 2 sets with a lighter weight with a narrow stance and 1 set with heavier weight. For the walking lunges I focused on the movement and ROM rather than the weight I was carrying. Leg extensions were a good way to end quads. For the good mornings I did 10 reps with a wide stance and 10 reps with a narrow stance. RDLs were done from a platform to get more ROM and feet about shoulder width apart. Leg curls were nice. Calves were nice, nothing new there. I finished off everything with a set of 20 on the belt squat machine and damn I was feeling it after that. Only did 2 sets of abs and I was dying. Afterward me and aldo and jack played some basketball and that was good. All in all a leg day! Chilling tomorrow and have a meeting for the thing I need to do for school and then hitting it hard all next week! .
