Syd competed in the Science Olympiad today at Missouri State University! We are so proud of her for all of her hard work!
We had to be at the event at 7:45 this morning for check-in so the rest of our day will likely be spent napping and getting caught up on some things at home. Anyone doing anything adventurous this weekend?! We can live vicariously through you while we act like bums 😂
🥢Korean Ramyeon 🍜
🥣There are many different types of ramen flavors and brands from Korea. The most well known in Singapore are probably "Shin Ramyeon" and "Hot Chicken Flavour Ramyeon" which is the ramen used in the Spicy Noodle Challenge. 🍥
🍜Today learn how to cook it the same way you see it all the dramas or variety shows that you watch! 🥢
🍥Comment below which is your favourite ramyeon brand! 🥣
Who else thinks our words matter? ❤️ Your brain is like a supercomputer and your self-talk is the program it will run. So if you tell yourself ‘I am not good at remembering names’, you will not remember the name of the next person you meet because you programmed your computer not to.
Your mind is always eavesdropping on your self-talk. And if you fight for your limitations you get to keep them. Audit your inner voice and stand guard to the doors of your mind especially to the low opinions of others.
Remember that every single thought rewires your brain at a neurological level. If you knew how powerful your mind is, you wouldn’t think or say anything you don’t want to be true.
And when we do think something negative, it’s not the end of the world any more than eating one donut is. Just don’t beat yourself up, correct it with something simple like the word ‘yet’. “I’m not great at this...yet.” Tag a friend to remind them 👇

For Grandparents’ Day our Kinder room wrote special letters for their Special Grandparent. They went on an excursion to post them at the post box nearby. The children learnt about other ways of communication, the process of mailing letters and the excitement of sending and (soon) receiving letters. This was a great opportunity for the children to be out and about in our local community and build stronger relationships with their loved ones.
