First time in a while flying on night vision goggles (NVGs), low level, and airdrops... it’s safe to say it was a nice reminder of just how much #ilovemyjob .
Fun fact: I have about two times as many NVG hours as I do regular daytime hours!

I think this is one of my most very favorite photos from our trip. We had arrived in Marrakech after a 6 hour train ride, and had eaten dinner at this super good restaurant (for like 15 bucks total for both of us) and we’re wandering through the main square. Even at 10:30pm, the square was filled with people, with items to purchase. The sheer volume of stuff for sale was immeasurable. And here in this little moment by these little lanterns, a second of peace. sometimes it’s just about those little moments. And little bits of light .
