Don’t be afraid to take the road less travelled. 🌵🌞✨ Don’t feel pressured to follow the footsteps someone else laid out for you. You may not know where you end up, and that’s okay. Actually, that’s even more than okay; it’s beautiful. That’s the beauty of life - embracing the uncertainty of our existence with all her flaws, fears & opportunities, and believing that you can make whatever your heart desires out of it. Seeking stability in life is just wishing an illusion would be real.
These past months have been crazy for me - what’s even my home address at this point? However, what I’ve come to understand is that travelling will never feel like a lost opportunity. It sounds like such a cliché but for some odd reason living out of suitcases and not knowing where you are really headed, teaches you a LOT about yourself. It’s when you cannot rely on anyone else that you find the endless strength you have within. Ending my lease in DC and moving out of my beloved studio apartment seemed like such a scary step, but looking back I am so happy that I did it. From Washington DC to LA, to Joshua Tree, to San Diego - if you would’ve asked me a few months ago if I saw myself doing that I would’ve given you a big fat no. And now I’m packing my suitcase again and I’m heading to the Netherlands tomorrow & later on Russia. I can’t wait! #wanderlustwithlilylike

Full moons are one of our favorite natural phenomenons and this month’s moon is particularly special marking the 50th anniversary of NASA’s Apollo 11 mission when the first men set foot on the moon. Space tourism may be closer than we think- any takers? #takemetothemoon#outofoffice

Long gone are the days when “camping” was synonymous with endless, damp nights spent shivering on the ground with nothing but canned beans for sustenance. Today, boho-dreamy “glamping” has grown into a travel category all its own, and outdoor gear companies have obliterated the line that once separated “high performance” from “high design.” Camping culture has become downright chic. There are over 300 campsites in Joshua Tree National Park. Why not turn one of them into your own personal glampsite? Head to the link in our bio for 13 pieces of travel gear that will bring your campground up a notch. Photo by @miminguyenphoto. #afarmag#traveldeeper
So this is what 37 feels like?! | Spending 8 days away from all things responsibilities, time limits and cell services, is good for the lash artists soul | See you soon-ish ladies, a little older, more rested & ready for all things real life. | ❤️🌵✌🏼
One of my top selling prints is Joshua Tree No. 7. It looks beautiful framed in white, natural, and light walnut and can be sized to fit your space. Shop the link in bio for the entire Joshua Tree Collection!

NOLA #RockStarz we miss you so much and we’re in need of a summer revival⚔️🛡🎈
Get revived and take your sprit higher withus at the @prime_example_jazz on July 26 at 9pm .
🚗💨 Next stop on our road trip was Joshua Tree National Park. So far, one of the favourite parks we have visited. We loved the vibe, the desert tones, the lack of other patrons, and the campgrounds were unreal!
Wall Street Mill was our favourite hike. It took us to an old mining area which was surrounded by old cars and a crumbling Adobe home. We are into anything old 😉
Have you visited Joshua Tree yet?? 🌵
A few months back I took these images with the Sigma 14-24 f2.8 ART using the MC-11 to adapt the Canon mount to my Sony. Before switching to Sigma lenses and my A7RII, the Nikon 14-24 f2.8 was my go-to lens. When I got the chance to take the Sigma version for a spin, I was pretty excited and the results blew me away. These are just a few images I took on my first nights out with the lens in Anza Borrego and Joshua Tree. The second shot actually shows the @ISS passing through the Arch Rock in JT! So stoked to have caught that!
Check out my story for a link to the full in depth write-up I did with a whole bunch of sample images.
It was just recently announced that this lens will be available soon for the Sony E mount! With the recent announcement of the A7R4, this is pretty awesome timing. If you shoot the night sky, this lens should definitely be on your radar!
