Enjoying other people’s success in team sports is crucial as there’s a high chance is sports like cricket you fail more than you succeed.
What’s your views on enjoying the success of opponents if they are your friends? Does it make you less competitive?
This photo has probably been taken very out of context so bare that in mind.

Current sitch left (right on pic)bicep tendons swollen, fluid on joint, frozen shoulder, meaning limited range and pain anything past parallel with shoulder bicep and lats impinged and left trap taking over the work of the delt, relying on regular check ins with @chelmsfordsportsmassage and a cortizone injection before getting on stage. Lost some mass on the left delt that I'm doubtful is going to come back in a deficit, just going to have to carry on, deal with the pain and hope I can pull it out the bag on the day. Left should look like the fucking right 😤😤😤😤😤
During open carpal tunnel release surgery, the transverse carpal ligament is cut, which releases pressure on the median nerve and relieves the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. An incision is made at the base of the palm of the hand. This allows the doctor to see the transverse carpal ligament. After the ligament is cut, the skin is closed with stitches. The gap where the ligament was cut is left alone and eventually fills up with scar tissue. If you have open carpal tunnel release surgery, you typically do not need to stay in the hospital. It is usually done under local anesthetic, and you can go home on the same day.Dr Ritthy Sovann offers this service and after hours appointments are available 📞9️⃣2️⃣5️⃣9️⃣5️⃣9️⃣7️⃣1️⃣ Check out Dr Sovann online www.highroadspecialists.com.au #carpeltunnel#procedure#perform#offered#perth#wa#day#surgery#appointmentsavailable#high#road#specialists#after#hours#also#vasectomy#diabetes#burns#soft#tissue#injury

•hydrate- drink lots of water to replenish what you lost
•Stretch- Stretch your major muscle groups (at the minimum): calves, hamstrings, quads, glutes, back
•Ice any injuries / aches and pains for about 20 minutes
•If any aches and pains are still around after 2 days, book an appointment with your Athletic Therapist to address the little things BEFORE they turn into bigger injuries! .

Flexor digitorum profundus is the strongest muscle that powers the fingertips. Sometimes the forces going through the tendon are so great during certain rock climbing holds that the tendon avulses off the bone or ruptures a pulley which holds it close to the bone 🧗♀️🧗♂️ We recommend avoidance of the "crimp" grip which places these structures at max tension.

🔥Sometimes shoulder pain can be related to your shoulder blades (scapula) not “tracking” properly. This is because there are numerous muscles such as the Latissimus Dorsi, serratus anterior, and trapezius involved and may over or underpower the other muscles. As a physiotherapist, we assess for a scapulohumeral rhythm, which is the ratio of the glenohumeral movement to the scapulothoracic movement during arm elevation (the head of the shoulder into the socket and the shoulder blade against the ribs). 💥One way to activate your posterior (back) muscles is this exercise, where your elbows and hands are flat against the way, you push your hands apart against the theraband, and try to move your hands up the wall while keeping your elbows against the wall.

IMPORTANCE OF SLEEP!
When it comes to injury prevention, this has one of the biggest implications on increasing the risk factor for an athlete to be injured. Milewski (2014) found athletes who had less than 8 hours sleep were 1.7x greater risk of developing an injury.
We need to encourage & educate our athletes about the importance of sleep
‘Nuff said! 😄
