Life gets crazy busy, kind of like a superhero comic book right?! I think we can all agree on this one!
What do people tend to do when they get busy? Silently sip maybe 3 glasses of wine too many late at night in the lonely living room. Maybe you check out mentally and sleep a lot more - kind of feeling like a robot. Or maybe you boil to the top and let an explosion of regretful words come out of your mouth!
I think my husband would tell you I'm a 🤬 number 3... 😂 I would say I have to agree... Stress is serious! And isn't it ironic that when we are stressed we lean towards tactics that STRESS our bodies out even more!? Mentally and physically! We need to commit to health practices, routines, and habits that allow us to be calm and heal! That's why I've adopted the castor oil pack practice (link in bio) into my regimen... And why so many of you guys have too! @hormonewarriordiane and I talked about my easy 2-minute nighttime routine! Check out my Youtube channel by searching "Queen of the Thrones" on YouTube!
Here's the latest nitty-gritty poopy detail in my *Essential Gut Health* series. ▶Swipe pics for related posts. This is from a talk and notes via naturopathic colleagues.
💩 One thing we always ask patients is "are you a hyper wiper?" After you are done with your bowel movement how many wipes does it take for you to feel clean? If it's more than 1-2 wipes you are a hyper wiper. .
Hyper wiping can be a sign of sticky poops and inflammation going on in the gut. You never see a healthy dog or cat wipe their butts after a bowel movement. That's because they eat an appropriate diet for their biology and their poops aren't wet or sticky. .
If you are a hyper wiper (more than 1-2 wipes) you might not be getting enough fiber, dealing with food sensitivities or intolerances or possibly have a gut dysbiosis. ▶Use the *Fiber Tally Worksheet* on The Articles page of my website to calculate the grams of your dietary fiber intake and make any adjustments according to the recommended intake provided.
Sticky poop can be a symptom of a temporary or chronic digestive disorder, or the result of a diet that contains too much fat. Chocolate also can contribute to this Sticky poo may appear greasy & pale or dark & tarry. These can be due to any number of causes including a sluggish liver, gallbladder issues, digestive enzyme deficiencies, which ▶As I've explained in related posts are often secondary to mineral deficiencies, etc. ▶Swipe pics.. .
.💩 .If you also have other symptoms, such as gas or abdominal cramps, be sure your caregiver knows about it; And also cares enough to thoroughly investigate underlying causes.
▶ I'm always available for a no-cost 20-minute Strategy Session to discuss your gut or other health needs . .

Poking a little fun here, but have you ever experienced indigestion? Bloating? Gas? Nausea? Abdominal pain? Constipation? Bad breath? Burping? Farting? Food in your stool? You get the idea ... and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone here! There are a few reasons our digestion may not be working like we want it to. And the sad part of this is that it means we aren't getting the nutrients out of our food to the extent that we could be, even if we are eating "healthy"! :(
1. Low Hydrochloric acid production in the stomach, which decreases as we age. It can result in proteins not fully breaking down, pathogens not being eliminated (bacteria, viruses, parasites), our stomach emptying too slowly and causing over-acid like symptoms , and poor absorption of some nutrients.
2. A lack of other digestive enzymes. This can happen when we are deficient in the building blocks that produce enzymes or have a stressed out, inflamed pancreas.
3. Liver and gallbladder issues, resulting in a lack of bile production and making fats difficult to break down. It's like trying to wash a lasagna pan without soap to emulsify the grease. Yeah.
4. Intestinal issues such as an imbalance in our gut microbiome (bacteria) or a permeable "leaky gut".
5. Lifestyle issues like eating when you're stressed, eating too much or too quickly, and eating the wrong kind of foods.
Rest assured, there are easy ways to correct most of these issues, which I'll be discussing further. You can also add some digestive supplements to your meals. Reach out if need some help getting back on track! The only fuel our body has comes from the food we eat, which goes way beyond calories. Energy production, nice skin, good sleep, stable moods all depend on good nutrient availability.

. Just been trying to see this from other side. If someone tried this on me. Terrifying. That kind of repeated signing could easily appear as indigestion or acid reflux as well. No gum would protect against that
Are you suffering from indigestion, bloating, acidity, stomach discomfort frequently?
Eating wrong food combinations could be one of the reasons. Fruit milkshake is one such food combo that should be avoided according to Ayurveda. Taking fruits and milk together may lead to indigestion, hyperacidity, stomach discomfort, skin diseases, allergies and respiratory disorders.

I saw this picture today and had so many thoughts come into my head. First, health isn’t always about what’s on the outside. It’s about what’s on the INSIDE. .
The picture on the right shows how excess fat puts pressure not only on the spine, but you can’t even fully distinguish the organs like you can on the left. Everything is just.....squished. .
Maybe you’re feeling this in your own body. You have indigestion. Your joints hurt. You can’t walk without your knees or hips hurting. Your back is always aching. You have heart burn. I can help you. I WANT to help you. You don’t have to live with chronic health issues that can be remedied through proper nutrition and fat loss. .
Why live in pain for the rest of your life when YOU have the power to change this!! Let’s get you on a road to health because health starts from the INSIDE OUT!!
[ 5 tips to improve your digestive health ]
I just wrapped up my Instagram story series on this highly requested topic
Digestive health is something MANY people struggle with and even those who eat *healthy* often complain of digestive discomfort
My 5 tips are simple habits to incorporate daily to achieve BETTER digestive health 👇🏼
CUT the CULPRITS ☠️
Often the foods causing most discomfort include the following ingredients - gluten, dairy & legumes
If you are experiencing daily upset try eliminating one at a time and keep a food diary including ALL ingredients consumed to try and identify any triggers
FOOD INTOLERANCE TESTING 📈
Maybe you don’t want to try the elimination diet & get straight to it! Sometimes even the healthy foods were eating on the daily are causing us grief. If you’re looking to get testing done locally check out @thehealthygutcentre and @darwinnaturopathics
COOK your VEGGIES 🥦
Are you consuming a lot of raw veggies? They could be contributing to your discomfort. Try eating more cooked veggies - don’t overdo it just lightly steam,
or sauté them. This makes them easier to digest
PRACTICE MINDFUL EATING 🙏🏼
Are you eating at your desk? While still working? That’s a big NO NO! Put your phone away, step outside and enjoy your meal. Take three deal breaths. Focus on eating, concentrate on each food and appreciate your meal
EAT GUT HEALING FOODS 🥑
Consume simple and unprocessed foods that aren’t going to cause inflammation to the gut. Incorporate gut healing foods into your daily diet such as those high in fat to help heal gut lining - avocado, olives, salmon. Foods high in fibre - flax seeds, chia seeds, artichoke
They’re my 5 tips to better digestive health!
There really is SO much you can do but my goal is to teach you can make some simple and inexpensive changes that will bring great change to your health 🙌🏼
Gulkand, a sweet preserve of rose petals, is an ayurvedic medicine and Indian traditional recipe. Consuming 1 – 2 teaspoons of gulkand helps to reduce acidity and stomach heat. It also helps in treating ulcers and prevents swelling in the intestine. #health_healthyfood#health#healthy#plantbased#organic#vegan#nutrition#diet#fitness#wellness#tasty#yummy#delicious#natural#fiber#digestive#antioxidants#cleanse#clean#gulkand#rosepetals#constipation#acidity#indigestion#ayurvedalifestyle

Managing your own food intolerances is one thing. Managing multiple food intolerances for your whole family makes it exponentially harder. In this video I discuss tips I've learned. to manage everything and stay sane.
So there was birthday party of my brother and we ate a lot. Specially me 😂😂 so i did vajrasana and surya mudra to aid the food digestion. These two things you can do just after food. The duration should be 30-45 mins (10/15 mins 3 times)
So whenever you feel like you ate too much. Sit in vajrasana and do surya mudra before sleeping.. 😊
Yummy yummy 😋

LET’S TALK ABOUT B L O A T I N G 😱
This picture popped up as a FB memory from 2 years ago, and it’s too good not to #Repost 👏🏼
Time difference between photos: 12 HOURS
(yes, you read that correctly - overnight)
I was not pushing out, nor was I sucking in, and for shits and giggles, I guess I weighed myself after each picture (probably to prove a point 🤓). I weighed more on the right BTW.
I didn’t freak out, do a crap ton of cardio or reduce my calories, because I was already practicing breaking those habits. RULEBREAKER #Holla 👏🏼
THIS is why LEARNING your body & BEING KIND to yourself is SO IMPORTANT, because bloat isn’t always a result of you being “bad.”
Sometimes you’re just eating something consistently that doesn’t agree with you, and you just don’t know that yet. 🤯
That night I had accidentally eaten something (a CLEAN meal at that) containing brown rice, hence my extreme bloat and discomfort.
❌Brown rice doesn’t agree with ME, and for YEARS I was listening to people who preached “eat clean and train hard.” Prior to figuring out it was brown rice, I looked and felt like I did on the left EVERYDAY. And it made me feel like a failure, because I felt so miserable.
👏🏼👏🏼Y’ALL - WAKE UP!! The reason the cookie cutter dieting mentality never works, is because we are all unique, and it’s SO IMPORTANT to learn how to fuel YOUR body!
1️⃣ If you DO experience consistent bloat (outside of your period, and every now & then), drink MORE water, RELAX, don’t assume it’s fat (bloat is usually the result of gas, water retention, imbalance in your gut).
2️⃣ Make sure you are 💩regular, not severely restricting calories, doing too much cardio, and most importantly pay attention to foods that may be the culprit.
It serves as a solid reminder to you that you can diet as hard as you want, have the “perfect” meal plan, or the best “shake system,” but at the end of the day...
YOU are the ONLY “magic pill” you need to achieve results! ✌🏼

Anyone else need a few Digestive enzymes after Valentine's dinner? 🙋♀️ 💝 Not sure how I would have slept without these! Also took a DigestTab- a dye free form of calcium carbonate.
The toxic burden of our food is much more than it was ever meant to be due to so much processing- our bodies are taking a toll from it. It's no wonder we are suffering from leaky gut, dairy/soy/gluten intolerances, increasing rates of colon cancers, mental illness, auto-immune issues, and more. Our bodies were never meant to process that much CRAP! But it's almost impossible to completely avoid in our culture, so what do we do?
Terrazyme digestive enzymes is one way to ease the digestive burden. They help me personally with indigestion, gas and bloating after eating a heavy meal. Terrazyme is a blend of several active whole-food enzymes and mineral cofactors that help the breakdown of proteins, fats, complex carbohydrates, sugars, and fiber- giving the body better digestion nutrients readily available for absorption and utilization. .
Want to know more deets?

I had tried it all.
In high school and college I suffered from indigestion and it showed. I was constantly dealing with unexplainable acne.
I started by spending outrageous amounts of money on skincare products, hoping that would fix the issue. It didn’t.
I finally went to my first dermatologist, who, after a short conversation, only wanted me to take prescription meds and use OTC creams. I agreed, but was again disappointed because it still didn’t help.
I went to another dermatologist who suggested cutting out dairy as well as meat. Basically go vegan and it would all go away. I was getting to the point where I was willing to try anything.
I was vegan for a year and vegetarian for about a year and a half after. I saw little changes, but I still wasn’t happy with it.
However, eating cleaner did show me that there was a connection between what I ate and how my skin reacted.
By this time, I was a senior in college. I saw @laurajulaine post about how much she loved the greens and how much it helped with digestion. I knew that there was a connection between gut heath and my skin issues so I decided to give them a try.
If I’m being honest, I didn’t love the flavor at first. But after about a month of consistency, I started feeling a lot better and my skin was clearing up too. I was able to reintroduce some meat and a little dairy into my diet, which I needed because I was constantly hungry while on a vegan/vegetarian diet.
I’ve been taking the greens now for about a year and a half and I can’t give enough credit to them.
While I do still break out every now and then, the majority of my issues have resolved. The greens have made a major difference for me. The probiotic and digestive enzyme blends really help to ensure my gut health is top notch.
While suggestions from the dermatologists definitely work for some, I wasn’t one of them. Instead, I take the greens and use medical grade skincare from @racquelfrisella and they have made the biggest difference.
I truly believe that a healthy inside can do wonders for your skin, because I’ve been through it myself.
If you are like me and have any questions, please reach out. I’m always here to help! 🤗
