The remarkable @anzac_memorial in Sydney's Hyde Park is dedicated to the spirit and legend of the Anzacs, and to all Australians who have served in the Defence Force. At 11am today on Remembrance Day, we observe the one-minute silence to honour our fallen soldiers and commemorate their sacrifices. #ilovesydney#LestWeForget ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

every night over the past week, we have had this blush tone in the sky at sunset and whilst I wish I could say we’ve simply just had great weather and clear skies, this hazy tone that’s become very familiar from late spring through summer each year is due to the intense bushfires happening in my state, New South Wales.
watching the news and reading various posts on social this week has brought the topic of climate change to the table, yet again, and it’s sparked some crazy debates, spanning thousands of comments on almost every post I’ve come across.
what are your personal thoughts about it? is your country and its leaders doing more to raise awareness? making sustainable changes to make a difference? i have to say, i do wish Australia did more and stopped sweeping it under the rug.
