Meet Romain Charlot, a father in Green Turtle Cay, Bahamas. He’s been trying to rebuild his home—his life—for nearly a year. Today, along with other residents of the #Bahamas, he braces for the 2020 hurricane season. Read his story of resilience. #HurricaneDorian
In terms of beach erosion, #Isaias largely spared the Treasure Coast compared to last year's #HurricaneDorian. No emergency dune projects are currently planned

Lighting isn't supposed to happen in hurricanes at all, because it comes from friction in vertical winds, not horizontal.
But there it is in #HurricaneIsaias just like in #HurricaneDorian.
I think this is assistance +++ and that these hurricanes could have been much worse. https://twitter.com/RT_com/status/1292656920931663873 …pic.twitter.com/wTb0GxjqON

Apparently expected to make landfall ON my house.
But after #hurricaneflorence in 2018, #hurricanedorian in 2019, and two years of remodeling, ...
Bring it #Isaias. This place ain't just termites holding hands anymore.https://twitter.com/NHC_Atlantic/status/1290310791862706176 …
For those wanting to castigate @JJudahIsaac
for not kneeling, not wearing #BlackLivesMatter: keep in mind he received @OrlandoMagic community service award in 2019 year, donated money to feed children affected by #COVID19. led #HurricaneDorian relief effort in 2019 & raised.,
Thousands of them are coming because they couldn't meet last year because of #HurricaneDorian . If residents can get their supplies prior and stay in that week it would be best. I'm furious that they don't care if they endanger our essential workers. I'm so tired.
Isaias near hurricane strength as it crawls toward Carolinas
Far and wide travel restrictions in the Bahamas have now not only halted inter-island traveling, but international is discouraged as well in addition to being under a 2 week lockdown. It has made our work different, but not impossible #hurricanedorian https://twitter.com/ewnewsbahamas/status/1291496281895063552 …
