Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (@ilhanmn) breaks down Israel’s violent military occupation in a Twitter thread on what she had planned to see in Palestine before Israe banned her and @rashidatlaib from going. She ended the thread with this message: “The occupation is real.
Barring members of Congress from seeing it does not make it go away.
We must end it—together.”

There is no such a thing called high chair or stroller in North Korea, at least where I am from, in #hyesan for average people like ourselves. Even baby formula wasn’t available, so the babies whose mom didn’t make breast milk had to die or the lucky ones had to borrow milk from the neighbors. Sometimes, I just do not understand how my parents raised me at all without any of these essential helping tools. I hope I remember how much I have before I ever complain about the challenges of motherhood.

And yes, that includes abortion.

JH loves to drop in to say hello to the Asheville firefighters. In the evenings, he enjoys driving past the fire station and waving excitedly at the firefighters sitting outside. He brings alot of joy to their faces and they say he can drop by anytime.

Proabortion supporters are so hung up on bodily autonomy and reproductive rights that they are ignoring a simple fact that it is not a woman that dies in an abortion, but her preborn baby. Not her body dismembered, but her baby's.
Why do women have wombs to begin with. If a woman's womb is not carry another human being then why have a womb in the first place.
What is so natural about suctioning, evacuating, and scraping a dead baby out of the womb. Why is abortion considered healthcare, when a dead baby is the end result of this barbaric procedure.
Abortion is unnatural and the killing of an innocent life that is suppose to grow and mature for a nine month span until he/ she comes through the birth canal or delivered via C-section.
Those that are protesting and fighting for women to have rights over killing their baby truly do not get that every human being has the right to life.
Not your body, not your choice to kill another human being that cannot defend themselves. Reproductive rights should begin before reproduction. Let the babies live their lives.

“I think the biggest thing that we need to be aware of is that it actually exists in our community. I think they’re still perception that’s an overseas issue and at the end of the day, hundreds of thousands of Americans are trafficked for sex each year, including a lot of children.” - Brittany Dunn, Safe House Project Chief Development Officer

Tomorrow’s World Humanitarian Day! And the @unitednations theme will be #WomenHumanitarians.
Here I’m pictured with the Australian embassy program manager, Australia’s Deputy Head of Mission, President of the Chuuk and FSM Women’s Councils, The Honorable Minister of Culture & Internal Affairs of the Marshall Islands, Coordinator of our Young Women’s Empowerment Program, and the Assistant Secretary for MI’s Culture & Internal Affairs.
Sorry for the mouthful, but these women are on the frontline of the battles against climate change and gender inequality. They will be collaborating on the development of gender-based violence services in the North Pacific. For women to take their place as leaders and peacemakers, we need to remove barriers like the high rates of domestic violence.
I get to be part of it for a second, but shoutout to the real humanitarians.
