#ad I'm in awe of what @StateFarm is doing here at Governors Ball in NYC. Each person participating over here at the Neighborhood of Good is bringing in more and more funding for music education! It's insane how much this will help kids across the country! If you're here, stop by say hi and participate to help bring more music to our youth!
We get tons of DMs, emails and calls about installing our comps. Here is a good tip for everyone:
**SHOWN ON A SIGP320 WITH METRIC THREADS** .
You want the comp to look like the picture (1/4ish turn) when it’s hand tight, timed with the shims. At this point, you torque it down as per the instructions and you are GTG
* (the slide is in the vise like this only to show the comp, DO NOT use the wrench on the comp)

#ad Just a few pics from the @statefarm Neighborhood of Good @ Lollapalooza. I’m blown away by the thoughtfulness of this initiative. Thankfully I was able to vlog the entire thing so I can share with you guys. I can’t wait to show you this tomorrow!
State Farm has raised over $100,000 to give young artists the opportunity to record their music. Guys. I’m 1000% behind this initiative and hope that if you see the State Farm Neighborhood of Good at a music festival this summer, you stop by and participate to help bring music education to more youth!
A huge shout out to State Farm for allowing me to be part of this beautiful opportunity.
#ad Hello friends :) Got some exciting news- I'm teaming up with @statefarm to help them share the importance of music education for youth across the country.
Growing up, my family didn’t have a lot of money so after school, housing, and food expenses, there wasn’t much left over for extra spending. Instruments and music classes on top of that were completely out of the question. So when my parents got me my first guitar it was definitely a big deal. To save money on classes, I decided to teach myself how to play and sing and kept at it solely because I loved doing it. And that’s what I love about this campaign. State Farm, working alongside nonprofit Notes For Notes, is helping to provide free resources to young aspiring musicians (6-18 years) who want to explore and create music for a living. Young people all over the country now have free access to state of the art instruments and studios. And with recording costs and musical instruments being so high, this is something special that hits close to home.
So I'll be going to Lollapalooza and Voodoo Fest to check out the State Farm Neighborhood of Good, and I’ll be showing you how you can help the cause through these activations.
Stay tuned to join us on our little adventure 🙌🏼
4 month sleep regression 😩
So not all babies will go through the 4 month sleep regression so wohoo if your little one doesn’t .. but it’s tough for those whose babies were sleeping well to then frequently waking.
It can happen before and after 4 months. It happens due to a change in your babies sleep cycle. Their sleep cycles are maturing so they spend more time in light sleep which can cause them to wake more frequently. However tough it is, just remember it’s a developmental milestone and your baby is moving into the sleep cycle they will have the rest of their life.
It’s hard because the regression can not only effect their night time sleep but also naps too. They fight naps, wake up early and are up frequently throughout the night. However with patience and consistency they will come out the other side.
Sleep regressions typically last anywhere from 2-6 weeks. Fingers crossed the shorter but sleep regressions are different for every baby.
Top tips to get out the other side is to keep as consistent with sleep times. Keep your little one swaddled, with thier white noise on for all naps and sleep and in a dark room. Try to always put little one down drowsy, but awake. However temping to rock or feed them to sleep this will be another obstacle to over come when you come out the other side of the regression. Try to keep to little one on their day sleep routine as much as possible. If you need to move bed time earlier we recommend to do it as entering the night with an overtired baby will only make things worse.
If you find your little one wants a feed in the night (common during sleep regression) then listen to them. Feed them but no interaction, don’t change their sleep environment or turn off the white noise and straight back to bed. My daughter went from sleeping 8/8.30-7 to up twice a night wanting to feed. Maisie didn’t have any regressing - lucky Em!
The 4 month sleep regression is exhausting for mummies so please accept help from others. When it hit here I was utterly exhausted and felt so low but we quickly came out the other side with the support of everyone around and knowing exactly what to do to come out the other side.
Hi everyone, so I’ve created a video on the topic ‘Anxiety’, now I’ve done this in a different order as this was probably the third question I answered through video but it’s the most anxiety seems to be a high topic for most mums and I can completely relate. I am no medical expert and this is all based on my opinion but anxiety is such a wide spread of various symptoms so if you feel you are clenching your teeth, loosing appetite, afraid to socialise or go through a day and even constant headaches then this topic can be related to you but please seek medical help or talk to someone close to you. Nothing is worse than holding anxiety in, in the hope that is will go away or that you can cope. People often see mothers happily strolling their baby on the street having no incline that there could be an issue with the mum all they see is the perception of a happy mum walking with her baby. If you also know someone with a baby please do ask how they are doing and watch out for symptoms especially if you haven’t seen them in a while. #anxiety#anxietyrelief#pregnancy#pregnancyanxiety#mumanxiety#firsttimemom#firsttimemummy#mummyissues#mumadvice#seekhelp#mumshelpingmums#nct#midwifelife#womenhelpingwomen#mumlife#facinganxiety#anxietyrelief#anxietyproblems#heretohelp#anishastory
