I knew all about those stolen glances of yours, back in school. I knew it all, right from the beginning.
I distinctly remember offering you my first subtle 'Hi' with an expression for permission to share the bench with you. And all you did was gape at me. And then embarrassing looking away with a little nod as a yes.
I never imagined what kind of journey I would be embarking on, with you. Starting from sharing notes and speaking words enough in number to realize that somebody existed besides me and going on to sharing lunches and creating code names for kids we despised in class, we had so much to experience in between and outside of this relation we had.
Well, the experiences were different for the both of us. I grew closer to another boy, while you watched me grow apart from you. You watched me cry my eyes out, and the next few days watched me cuss out that "Apparent" ex. You saw my jealousy when an another girl gave you alittle extra of her lunch with the excuse of her not wanting it while you patiently waited for my texts of reaching home safely, while I shamelessly partied with the boy I knew only for a week.
