Today I’m at one of the most beautiful places in the world, Ojo De Agua. It’s a natural pool with volcanic origin water-centered around plants and wildlife. Native artisans sell jewelry by the natural volcanic pool. There’s a man that sells fresh coconuts and a woman that sells necklaces made out of barks, leaves, and roots, using elements to create jewelry from the earth.
As I look around this serene volcanic pool in Ometepe, Nicaragua, I suddenly notice something. My friend and I are the only black people here. There are solely white travelers, along with the native people. My friend and I are the only black people in the village.
In all honesty, every time that I travel to a different country, I prepare myself to be one of the only few black people. However, it is still so important for black people to travel more, especially Black Americans. Taking a break from an environment that has never had your best interest is so crucial for our wellness and health. Whether it’s a week, three months, or even moving to a foreign country, getting outside of our comfort zones is vital for growth collectively and individually.
It’s also essential for black people to travel because it can change your entire perspective of the world. Traveling opens your mind to understanding that there are so many different ways to live, and we have been conditioned to follow one direction. Traveling allows significant transformation— One of the most excellent methods for transformation is by changing environments. It also opens your heart and gives you a deeper understanding of the meaning of this life. When we broaden our physical world, we open our mental, spiritual, and emotional being.
An entire world awaits our presence. Our ancestors were not only in Africa— They were everywhere, from Asia to South America. Black people swam in all of the majestic deep blue oceans, and we gave the world culture, science, philosophy, and religion. Traveling is our birthright, and black people should explore the world.
Have you ever thought about living in a different country? If so, what country and why? Tell me in the comments below.❤️👇🏿

| HEALING BENEFITS OF CILANTRO | Cilantro is a phenomenal herb that is packed with vitamins A, & C, minerals such as iron, calcium, and magnesium, and has more antioxidants than most fruits or vegetables. Cilantro is a remarkable heavy-metal detoxifier and is able to remove mercury and aluminum from where it is stored in the adipose (fat) tissues.
Cilantro is also able to mobilize mercury rapidly from the brain and central nervous system by separating it from the fat tissue and moving into the blood & lymph where when combined with a blue green algae such as spirulina it can be removed safely and effectively from the body. Cilantro & spirulina used together is a winning combination and a natural miracle that has given tremendous relief to those suffering from mercury poisoning & toxicity.
Cilantro also contains an anti-bacterial compound called dodecenal which has the ability to kill salmonella bacteria and prevent salmonella poisoning. Cilantro is highly beneficial for Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Arthritis, Diabetes, Viral and Bacterial Infections, Hepatitis, Colitis, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, Autism, Tourette Syndrome, Infertility, and Bell’s Palsy. Cilantro is also very helpful with autoimmune disorders such as Fibromyalgia, Addison’s Disease, Guillain-Barre syndrome, IBS, Multiple Sclerosis, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
Cilantro is known to support the stomach, spleen, adrenals, thyroid, pancreas, bladder, and lungs. It is also highly beneficial in reducing LDL (bad) cholesterol and raising HDL (good) cholesterol. Cilantro is often juiced with celery and apples for a medicinal and healing drink. Juicing cilantro is one of the most effective ways to get at least one bunch or more of cilantro in you a day.
Cilantro can also be added to smoothies, salsas, salads, guacamole, soups, pesto, tomatoes, beans, and veggie dishes. If the green flavor of cilantro does not appeal to you, yet you still want to receive its health benefits, consider using cilantro tincture or extract which can be found online or at your local health food store.

The hardest lesson I have learned this year is never stop working to improve your happiness.
Everything happens for a reason. That reason causes change. Sometimes the change hurts. Sometimes the change is hard. But in the end its all for the best. .

Repost from @naturallysarahann SKIN PROGRESSION IN THE LAST 2 YEARS!🌟🌟🌟
I remember being so sick in the upper right picture and my acne exploded out of control. I couldn’t look in the mirror. I couldn’t leave the house without putting on tons of makeup. I had no confidence. I felt like I tried literally everything! I spent so much money on cleansers and spot treatments, which only lead to being disappointed in the end. I tried every trendy diet out there. I went to a functional medicine doctor. Nothing seemed to work. Deep down I knew I could heal, so I kept searching.
I eventually stumbled across @medicalmedium. For 2 years I’ve followed his protocols. I’ve drank celery juice first thing in the morning followed by the heavy metal detox smoothie. I’ve added in tons of healings fruits, veggies and herbs. I have also done the 3-6-9 cleanse and acne protocol from his Liver Rescue book. All of these things have helped me heal so much!
My healing journey has been slow and steady and I’ve learned that’s ok. I’ve learned to embrace it and to love myself through it. I’ve gained my confident back. I’m able to walk out the door without makeup. I’m able to look at myself in the mirror again and tell myself I am beautiful. I’m forever thankful for finding this information. 🙏
Xenoestrogens are found in a ton of everyday items. Most of us don't think twice about the makeup we apply each day, the plastic containers we use daily or the chemical cocktail of cleaning products that we're exposed to.⠀
But... all of the above could be altering the way our body naturally functions because they ALL contain endocrine disruptors called "xenoestrogens."⠀
The body naturally produces estrogen and this is called "endogenous" - or made by the body. Xenoestrogens mimic estrogen in the body and have the ability to outcompete the estrogen we make, leading to hormonal & endocrine disruption.⠀
Xenoestrogens can be up to 1000 times more powerful than endogenous estrogen & the greater the exposure, the the greater the impact. Xenoestrogens are stored in the fat cells & a build up has been indicated in many conditions including breast, prostate & testicular cancer, obesity, infertility, endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, early onset puberty, miscarriages and thyroid disruption.⠀
There are factors that will govern how significant the exposure to xenoestrogens will be to your health. They include:⠀
💠There can be a lag between exposure and the development of symptoms which makes it difficult to determine when or where the exposure occurred.⠀
💠Chemicals in utero or as a child has the potential for more harm than if exposed as an adult.⠀
💠Mixed exposure. We're rarely exposed to just one chemical, thus the effects of multiple xenoestrogens might be additive and possibly have a synergistic effect.⠀
💠Small exposure to these chemicals can cause endocrine or reproductive harm if they happen at a critical developmental stage.⠀
Xenoestrogens can be found almost everywhere. Sources include (buy no means exhaustive)water, non organic foods, cleaning products, makeup, canned foods, plastics, air fresheners, hair dyes, personal care products, birth control pills, toys, building materials, nail polish, cash register receipts, perfume and laundry products.⠀
Although this list seems overwhelming, the good news is that you can reduce your exposure. Stay tuned for my next post on how.⠀

Sharing this little gem from #gtc2019 back in May because a year ago today I decided to make an investment into my future and start my health and wellness business🌱
I had no idea that small initial monetary investment would turn out to be such a huge investment into myself.
The people I’ve met, the friendships I’ve built, the places and events I’ve gone to, the game changing products I’ve adopted into my routine, the people I’ve been able to help, the PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT I’ve done and the GROWTH I’ve had.. to name a few—have been beyond amazing.
I’m so insanely thankful to have this opportunity, all I want to do it share it with the world. As mind blowing as 2019 has been, the last 365 have only been a warm up for what’s to come. I’m SO excited for the things I’ve got planned and all of the adventures that are going to come with it in the next year🔮
Do yourself a favor and take that leap of faith—the only thing you have to lose are the fears that are holding you back from your own greatness. I’m here to hold your hand every step of the way🤗

It's important at this time of the year to keep your body moving, even if you can't maintain your full normal training routine.
There are plenty of options to keep your body moving over the holidays, that don't need any equipment and can be done at home utilising your gaps even if it's just 15 minutes.
Here are a few different options to keep in mind. - Apps or online videos and programs. There are lots out there I love the GAIA app, for various instructors with different types of yoga programs. Just make sure you are finding quality instruction. - Body weight exercises or utilising any equipment you might have around your home, to do home workouts. Keep it simple and focus on technique and intensity. - Walk, Run or Stairs. Get outside and enjoy. There are so many beautiful space outside where you can simple utilise what's around you. Hills, steps, sand are all great ways to increase intensity. - Get out and get active. Try some different outdoor activities, rock climbing, kayaking, sand up paddle boarding, bike riding, tennis, there are lots of different activities in your local area where you can hire out. It will be fun challenging and a great activity to get other family and friends involved with while people are in holidays or having a few days off.
Be it short gaps on busy days or utilising some time off to do seething different there are lots of options to keep you moving and keeping up your fitness, stay strong and manage your weight over the holidays.
