Oasis - (What's The Story) Morning Glory (1995). For sure my favorite Britpop album ever and one of the best 90's records ever. Oasis were so great back then, I remember it well seeing the Wonderwall Video on MTV for the first time. It was fan from the first chord on. Don't look back in Anger is in my personal Top Ten songs of all times, so important for me. Really like this high quality trifold sleeve with the iconic cover artwork. Nice Tuesday my friends. BTW Hope you can see my posting, cause my account is still bugged and my Hashtags don't work. 🤔😢

Dorothy said it best. There’s no place like home. It’s where we feel safe, create memories and live in freedom. ⠀
There’s lots of wonderful people who would love to be safe at home right now, but they are on the front line saving lives and keeping our country, our family and our friends safe. Thank you to all the healthcare workers, police, supermarket staff, cleaners, security and essential services. We appreciate you.⠀
And when this is all over, we can’t wait to give ALL the hugs to all the people who make our homeland sparkle. In the meantime, we HouseParty/Zoom/Facetime/Spotify our hearts out. 🤘⠀

So I normally post a motivational quote or something cool I heard recently at this time.
But, today... I want to share something I've seen people do over the years and even more so now... See whenever we are stressed we naturally go to our comfort zone.. For some it's withdrawing from others.
For some it's self doubt and over thinking.
For some it's lashing out at others and projecting.
We either run from pain or we run towards pleasure.
Problem is when stress hits it becomes hard to find the pleasure, so we focus on avoiding the pain.
There's no judgement in what you naturally tend to do during times of stress... The judgement comes from the choices and actions you take while you're going through those emotions.
For me it's been in figuring out what I naturally tend to do and then choosing to do the opposite.
Which is withdrawing from others.
But I know that doesn't lead to the result I want in my life.
So I know for me I have to show up even on the days I least feel like it.
It's in those counter intuitive decisions that lead to better results.
As with all challenges, this too will pass.
And as one of my good friends always says... Make good decisions 😉

Excuse the lifting face 😆 I’m only sharing this extra not cute pic because I’m pretty excited that I’m officially 13 pounds heavier but still feeling semi defined when I lift 🥳
This week has already been a STRUGGLE working out. Sunday night I got four hours of sleep, and then woke up and went into an 11 hour work day. I did NOT want to work out last night, but I made it happen. How? I just put on my workout clothes and thought of how much better I’ll feel laying in bed knowing I kept my word to myself - I don’t skip programmed workouts. I have flexible days where I might choose to rest instead, but Monday is never negotiable.
Then today, I could have slept in foreverrrr. I woke up naturally after a solid 9 hours, and when my husband is sleeping in too, it’s so hard to make myself get up and leave. But I knew I got enough sleep, and I had just enough time to get shoulders and a metcon in before work today, so I rolled out of bed and went.
Some weeks are harder than others, and my pre-workout motivation has been really sucky so far this week. But once I’m in the gym and I have my headphones on, it’s another world. All the reasons I almost didn’t do it are gone, and I’m so happy I’m there.
So cheers to all the workouts you reallllly didn’t want to do, but did anyways🥳 They add up!
These 13 pounds would look a loootttt different if I wasn’t lifting as consistently as I do. Thank goodness I actually love it, because I don’t think how it “looks” really means that much to me to get me there when I’d rather be lazy.
3 ear size replacement earbuds tips are included. Snug fit for even small size ears!

I went to post this video and I don't really have anything spectacular to say. It has been an eventful morning. .
I had to go get gas for the lawn mower and it took me 10 minutes to get the lid unscrewed on the gas can. .
Then when I got back, I let Enzo out and he was outside for about 15 minutes. I go outside to get him in and he has a freaking rabbit. (I know its awful) so we spent time trying to get it away from. And now I can find the poor thing anywhere. .
So anyway I got him inside and in his crate. Went back out to mow which took forever to do because the grass is long and I have a push mower. Ended up getting opening a callus on my hand. .
Needless to say very exciting morning in this quarantine life .
So it felt good to workout and brush all the crazy off for a little while. .
And best part is, my ladies were right there with me on a Zoom call. .
Now I am off to figure out what we can do around the house
