Update time: What happened to me post-show?
Well, I spent a couple hours hating my genetics, then got over it. Then consumed 4,300 calories. Don’t do this.
Next day, I went straight back into prep mode 💀 eating less than before & doing more cardio than I’ve ever done in my life because..... 8 DAYS OUT!!! 😎
3rd place ain’t bad but I can do better so @jax.physiques and I decided i’d drive 5 hours and compete in Ottawa (which happens to be the first show I ever competed in)
Excited to bring a tighter package this time & meet some of my lovely online friends ☺️

People won’t understand you but you do not give a fuck because you know it’s worth it.
Accurate description of what I was saying to myself this morning.. 🥴🥤 Morning Routine: Do you have one? ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀As shown before on the story, every morning I do the same 5 things just after I wake up to ensure I’m about to have a solid day! ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Usually they go by this:
1️⃣ Listen to something as I’m waking up or sometimes I set a motivational alarm to get me hype just after rolling out of bed. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2️⃣ Brush my teeth, make myself a coffee or have a scoop of Oxyshred.
3️⃣ Meditate anywhere from 10-20mins depending on time.
4️⃣ Have a brief view on what my day is going to look like. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5️⃣ Give my dog Hunter his breakfast while Checking phone/social media (get back to clients) before I leave the house. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That basically sums up my morning, I try to keep it consistent because I’m a firm believer on our mornings set a tone for the day ahead ✊🏾 ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀

Never paused anything even remotely close to this before, so I’m super stoked about that. 10lbs under my last squat max for a pause so I think I’ll count this as a PR. Feeling a big squat come meet day
