Welcome back to Tee's healing space. I was walking outside and saw flowers growing over the wood.
You ever notice how plants grow over things under things and sometimes through things like cracks in the ground.
This reminded me that no matter where you are in life no matter what you're going through... you can grow through anything. Experiences BAD and GOOD are equally important for our growth and shouldn't stop your healing.

Our emotions dictate our day & our mindset. No matter how much we work on ourselves, we are human. We are in a constant state of flux which means that the only constant is our variability of change in emotion and how we perceive each situation.
Before bed two nights ago I made the mistake of reading the news 😕🤦🏻♀️ I never read the news before bed but curiosity got the best of me and it was a total palm to the forehead. I became overly anxious about my parents and had terrible nightmares that night; I woke up in a panic, heart racing and a dry throat. I could hardly sleep that night. So, yesterday, was affected from lack of sleep and an elongated bout of hyper-anxiety. My husband and I argued, I was exhausted and NOT in a good mood. So I decided to use what I’ve been learning these last 7 months of grounding and recalibrating myself to get back to feeling okay.
My personal techniques of feeling better & self-soothing:
-Ground: Go outside and put your bare feet on the ground or lay out like a starfish (if you can’t go outside, sit on the floor in your home)
-Meditate & Focus on breathing deeply for 5 minutes
-Gratitude list out loud & visualize those you are anxious about, send them positivity & light (this seriously helps because you cannot be anxious & grateful at the same time).
-Mindful eating: I cried, meditated & prayed then ate my lunch silently and with gratitude.
-Magnesium: If you got it, take it! Magnesium will naturally take the edge off and help your muscles relax which tense up when you’re feeling anxious.
-Feel your feelings, cry if you need to. I certainly did.
I let the media get the best of me and after getting super anxious I was able to chill the hell out. I felt better and was able to finish out my afternoon of work & family to-do’s. It’s okay to feel the feelings and not suppress them but work through them. Identify why you are feeling a certain way, talk yourself through it or talk to someone else that can hold that space for you. Anxiety, fear & sadness are all equal to happiness, joy & certainty, they’re just different. Learning to work through emotions and just letting it be is beautiful and so needed.

I’m choosing to watch sunsets instead of the news.
While the TVs make noise, my moments with Mother Nature have felt more peaceful than ever. I can feel her knowing smile when the sunlight dances on my skin, enveloped in her comforting embrace; I can see her playful twinkling eyes as the tree branches continue to dance defiantly in the wind; and I can hear her gentle whisper in each passing breeze, “Don’t you know yet, child? Change is the way of the world.” In the midst of media hype, borders shutting down, plans being uprooted, an economic slow down, and a global health crisis, it’s painfully easy to see the ways in which this virus is or could be devastating.
But you and me? We don’t settle for easy.
So here’s what I’m doing, and what I hope you’ll do, too:
I’m meditating more and scrolling feeds less
I’m showing up for my body with a little extra support (rest, water, sunlight, vitamins and probiotics!)
I’m releasing expectations I HAD and instead focusing on new opportunities I HAVE - asking how can I flow with this change instead of fight it?
I challenge you to look for the ways in which this virus is also an invitation in your life.
To slow down.
To get creative.
To stay present.
To make a change.
To be grateful.
To be of service.
To remember what Mother Nature has always known - that every storm will pass, and the sun will rise again tomorrow. 🌞🌊

Those of us that are safe at a “home,” we have the luxury to take this time and choose how we wish to spend it. And I’ll let you in on a little secret, there is no correct answer here. None at all. You can do something that I previously mentioned or something different. ⠀

Now is the time for you to be you.

Water used to be the element I had the most trouble connecting with. I’m an air sign to the core, and embody those traits sometimes to a fault. I’ve also got a healthy amount of fire in my chart, and have tended to gravitate toward fire signs for most of my life. I seek so much time with Mother Nature, earth never felt too far for me. And of course, my best friend in the whole world, my grounding rock, @amie_heart, is an earth sign.
But water has been an elusive presence in my life. Even though I have always lived near her, always craved her presence, even sought her out directly, I never felt she was as much a part of me. And I think now I understand why.
Until a couple of years ago, my constant struggle in life was learning to let go. This was one of ~those~ lessons for me, that I had to repeat over and over again until it finally resonated. To release my grip on what I thought SHOULD happen, and just let what IS be. I think that’s part of why I have always been drawn to a nomadic lifestyle, and why I have such a love for spontaneity — it’s great practice for me when circumstances unexpectedly change, almost forcing me to go with the flow.
It’s funny, even as a lifeguard in college, I was witnessing this lesson over and over again but was unable to fully observe it. Any past or present lifeguard knows that most swimmers who panic are fighting against the water. Trying (and failing) to overcome an impossible force, when instead, if they would simply lay back and let go, they would float peacefully on the surface. Think about it, fighting water? What an INSANE thing to try and do. You wouldn’t pick a fight with the ocean!
It’s the same with everything else in life. We can set a course and try to steer ourselves, but we can’t control what the universe does. We can only choose to fight its currents, or trust and float with them.
The element of water is the art of surrender. I’m starting to see and appreciate that so much now. (PS: I admire all of you water people so much and need more of you in my life. 😉💕🌊) And a big thanks to @mowalk_ for this insane picture 😍

Missing these two so much!! They’ve been with their dad during this whole quarantine...a weekend visit turned into a very extended stay! I’m happy that they’re all getting so much extra time together & grateful to their dad for holding it down with school stuff, but I can’t WAIT to squeeze my babies!!
It's a nice feeling being surrounded by like-minded individuals who notice your strengths. It's also a nice feeling meeting new people everyday and realising how silly the notion of attachment is. #growwiththeflow#postgradlife

They say "April showers brings May flowers!" 🌱These lovely plant friends from my Grandma's garden bloomed early! I've loved gardening since I was a little girl; planting, weeding, and caring for Grandma's garden keeps her close in my heart. Some of my favorites flowers are bleeding hearts, dahlias, and ranunculus. What are your favorite flowers?🌷

The difference between someone that receive the same opportunity. One earn RM 168 monthly and one earn RM 25,000 monthly of the same products, same cost, same benefits.
1) mindset - you need to have the growth mindset
2) Network - you have to reach to clients. Having instagram without your effort to reach clients personally is like open a shop in a jungle where you are the only one there and hoping someone pass by and buy your products.
3) Consistency - show up to opportunity everyday. Without fail.
4) Distribution - reach far in uncomfortable places and network as much as possible to look for the opportunity to distribute Rasa Rosz
5) Effort - Food sampling, follow up, calling, asking, follow through. All the process that require to generate luck.
6) Keeping record, running it as proper business. - generate and keeping invoices, take care of accounts, cost and delivery, looking out for best deals to distribute to their clients.

🤍 Here’s some transparency for your Tuesday ~ one thing this quarantine is doing for me that has been bountiful & more humbling beyond belief is getting back to my familiar self. Getting back to the roots of my existence. Recognizing my deepest self, being able to acknowledge her as my oldest friend really coming through at this time to be felt, healed & nourished back to a bigger part of my existence & feel more connected with all of who I am. Its been a long time since I felt connected to my creative, playful, adventurous self, wholeheartedly. I’ve felt an energetic block I couldn’t get past fully. Stuck in a paradox of not knowing how to reach myself, feeling overwhelmed, emotional & drained from husslin’ & busslin’ in my human life. Not showing up internally like I can, like I should. It used to come easier & that’s been defeating to admit. I know I mustn’t forget that the journey is through each step & to try to consciously honor it all for what it is. I have to remind myself that it’s my responsibility to make the space inside my head a healthy one. I slip in & out of seeing the bigger picture because I am fixated on the finely tuned details. Over thinking, over analyzing & feeling overwhelmed are some of my struggles. I want to sound them to sleep. I am aware of what I’m observing inside which is honorable but still connecting my dots. I have to remember it’s okay. To take a deep breathe & slow absolutely e v e r y t h i n g down. That sometimes my mind talks just to hear itself. These times are reminding me to harness into my intuition, my creation & my power because I know there’s so much inside of myself I have yet to reveal to myself & the rest of the world. What I’m grateful to know is that I am shedding, shifting & shaping into harnessing the power of vulnerability, benevolence & trusting my process. 🌱⚡️🦋 .

I was in the mood for purple again but also plucked out a gorgeous blue I wanted to wear. Couldn't decide definitively which way to go so I went with a thermal polish that gives me the best of both - plus gorgeous shimmer!
