Today: I was feeling exhausted. Unmotivated. Unproductive. Complacent. Anxious. Tired. The pace of school is finally starting to catch up with me. Having days like this is NORMAL. There will be plenty of days when you don’t feel like doing anything. And that’s OKAY. You can’t compare yesterday to today. All you can do is make a promise to yourself that you’ll give your very best TODAY. You need to accept your best for what it is and tell yourself that tomorrow is another chance to do better. These are called “days of rest”. It’s your mind and your body telling you to slow down and take a chill pill. Breathe. Unwind. Self care. Me time. It’s your mind and body begging you to LISTEN to what it needs and allowing yourself time to refocus and regroup. This is NOT the same thing as “giving up” or “being lazy”. It’s about refueling your gas tank to prepare yourself and set yourself up for success when it’s time to put in work again. I challenge you all to have better awareness. Because you are certainly not alone for feeling this way! Some days are so much uglier than others. Embrace the ugly days because it will make better days so much more beautiful.

Today, I launched a project that I’ve been chipping away at for the past two years!! My Website. My Brand. My business! I’ve been creating content for the past 4 years and pouring my heart out on this platform with my words, thoughts, opinions, advice, motivation, tips, tricks, ect! As a woman, I feel it is extremely important to put myself first. Im unapologetically selfish and for a good reason. In my opinion, sometimes women get carried away nurturing and caring for others. We should never care for others to the point where we neglect ourselves. Nothing and no one is more important than you. We must give to ourselves first before we can give to anyone else.
