HOW TO PLAN AHEAD FOR SUCCESS
The stress of travel and being in airport is enough for some people, let alone adding in how to stay on track while traveling. So here is my plan for staying on track while being at the airport. ..
I’ll be eating dinner at the airport tonight. I already looked up what food will be in my gate area and what options there are. This is really easy to do these days (thank you technology) and all you have to do is google “food options in ____ airport” and it will be one of the first links on google. BOOM. Perfect. Blaze Pizza is where I’m going.
Now what? Blaze Pizza has a BYO section where you can literally build your pizza and get the macros/nutrition for it on the spot. BOOM, macros set. So we are prepared for success tonight at the airport and there is ZERO stress that has to come along with eating there. The rest of my macros for the day were planned around this meal to be able to fit in exactly what’s available for me…And I’m high key super excited for my dinner. I’ll post it later for ya. It’s not hard to plan for success, it just takes a little extra effort, but its worth it :)

No sweat, no glory. It is true. Most of us don’t like to sweat, since our society sees it as something gross. But within the four walls of a gym, sweat tells you that you’re doing good. That you’re working hard and that your body is still functioning how it’s supposed to function. We should keep appreciating the human body and what it does for us. Did you know that other creatures’ bodies have to avoid overheating, since they don’t sweat at all? So, embrace that sweat. Yeah, that might sound gross to you, but during my body transformations, it was also sweat that kept me going. Curious to see my body transformation? Check out my story.
You workout 4 days a week you say? 👊That’s awesome! Don’t stop.
But the truth is, we spend a lot of time sitting. Sitting at a desk. Sitting in a car 🚗. Sitting watching a movie. We sit. A lot.
Our bodies are designed to move. But our sedentary lifestyles often lead to mobility issues caused by tight muscles and/or muscles that just can’t fire properly. This can cause pain and even lead to injury.
Though I’m guilty of not doing this enough, short mobility sessions can help your body move freely. Mobility work can be done on a rest day or 10 minutes of mobility work is a great way to start your workout..helping to better establish the nervous system to muscle connection which can lead to increased power and strength output, greater range of motion through the joints and a more efficient workout 🏋️♀️ .
Today I’m showing you what is known as the World’s Greatest Stretch. It is a great exercise to prep for movement before any workout to help engage the core, warm up the shoulders and open through the the hips and chest.
This is a dynamic movement so you don’t hold any pose for a long period of time. Be deliberate about each step pausing for 2-3 seconds in each position. There are a few variations of this stretch… IG time limits on video made it hard to show the whole thing.
Guys, mobility matters. If you are looking to move better, it helps to put in the time! If you aren’t sure where to start, drop me a message!
“Are you desperate or determined? With desperation comes frustration. With determination comes purpose, achievement, and peace. An invincible determination can accomplish almost anything and in this lies the great distinction between great men and little men. Always #keeppushing
