[Werbung / Ad]I am exhausted!Yesterday was mad, actually the last 36 hours were.My phone did not sit still for more than 25 seconds at any time during my waking hours after the statements I posted in the stories.
I received the most sad comments with people not having understood my point at all, some pure confirmation and I led over 80 conversations in parallel. Some over 2 hours long. My fingers dead. This can only be the beginning, the real discussion is anything but over, it has merely started. @empirebrickofgin starts with some simple questions tomorrow to get the discussion further.
So on a day after, what do you post? It took me a while to figure it out. A free sample I am sharing with @ginfluencers which we received at @barconventber … Meet the @mermaidgin - pink edition. A bottle as demanding to shoot as it is to stay cool with and really pull yourself together for.
Beyond the challenging bottle, which I am happy to improve my skills with, the tasting was quite a thing. I was happy to tackle it together with Marius. There is not enough room in this post for a review and thorough tasting notes, but let me tell you one thing: I would have never chosen an aromatic tonic as a first reaction. But after really paying attention to the taste details, it appeared to be a good idea to do something different. Neither Fever-Tree Indian, Mediterranean nor Goldberg Indian worked as good as the aromatic tonic water. A reason for doing tonic pairings and not just using any odd tonic.
I know this is a teaser, not a review, not tasting notes. The complete review is in the making with many others ready to be released later this week. Please stay tuned for more.
What were your biggest take aways from yesterdays turmoil?

STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING: we need to talk about our new favourite drink! If you thought it couldn't get better than an #espressomartini, just wait until you try our gingerbread version 😍🎄
Rich and creamy with a gentle spice - this is a festive twist that we can't get enough of! We guarantee you won't be sharing..🙅🏽♀️
Gingerbread Espresso Martini 🍸
10ml gingerbread syrup
Sprinkle of ground nutmeg
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add your espresso, gingerbread syrup and gin. Shake well. Strain into a martini or coupe cocktail glass. Remove the ice from your shaker and rinse, then add the cream and shake for a minute to froth. Gently pour your cream down the stem of a bar spoon or over the back of a teaspoon so it floats on top of your drink. Sprinkle with a little ground nutmeg or cinnamon and serve immediately!
