Here are my #sweetwilliams (left) and #cosmos (right). For the sweet Williams the pot on the bottom was planted on May 21 and the pot on the top was planted on May 18, and for the Cosmos it’s the opposite way. I should probably transplant the cosmos soon. #flowers#beginnergardener#gardening
Another project crossed off the list ✔️ Last year we installed a raised garden bed - but I severely skimped on the materials. This year we built it right with 2"x12" boards, and some high quality raised garden corners Kyla got from Gardens Alive! 🌱🐞

First hydrangea blooms of the season! 😍💚 I preordered these Invincibelle Limetta hydrangeas last fall after seeing Laura from @gardenanswer planted them in her garden. All four hydrangeas came with mostly buds and it only took a couple weeks of warm weather for them to push out flowers. I’ve been longing to see these lime green blooms during the winter months and now I'm just excited to get the hydrangea season started in the garden. Who’s with me? ✋
Nobotokean is located probably fifty or hundred steps away Shisendo, a well-known temple in Kyoto.
It’s such a beautiful and interesting place, but many visitors don’t realize that this place is worth visiting after climbing the stairs to Shisendo.
It’s open on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The entrance fee is 500 yen or a bit over 4€, and you can also enjoy a cup of matcha 🍵 .

I’m all about that Flower 🌺 Power these days. 😍 I think my passion has really been able to shine through because we’re not doing much else these days! 👩🏻🌾 I’m excited to share this #HowToVideo that so many of you requested. Happy Planting! And remember, you’re not a real gardener until you sweet talk to your babies. 😂 Not embarrassing at all. They like it. #CrazyPlantLady

Gardening has always been a stress reliever for me. The beauty in watching what you plant grow every single day is calming, relaxing, exciting all at the same time. Lately, more than ever it’s also given me something to look forward to in my day. Not having the gym for 10 weeks has been taking the life out of me to say the least. There were days when I would just sleep in till 1pm because I didn’t know what tf to do. I didn’t have plans or anything to look forward to & if I got up I would have nothing to do and just snack all day. Then some days, I lay in bed for an hour or so after I open my eyes just staring at the ceiling with my mind completely blank. One day, I woke up and put some seeds into a cup of soil & when it sprouted I felt excited for something again. And ever since I got into gardening again, I find myself waking up at 8 or 9am before my alarm & I feel like a person again. Today, I’m feeling thankful to nature for helping me through this mentally & emotionally challenging time.
It’s been exactly 10 weeks since my gym closed & It’s been much harder than I ever imagined. But gardening has given me some of that therapy that I deeply miss from the gym & I feel much better & I wake up everyday with a purpose ❤️

I never tire of this view! Although we live in the suburbs, coming out here every morning feels like a bush retreat. 🌿🤎 #sothankful

No sign of growth yet from my lemon trees but I am super hopeful about these ones and want to grow them indoors in my house. I didn’t do the paper towel method on these guys and just directly planted the clean seeds from the lemon. Apparently if you plant the seeds directly into the soil they are less prone to getting iron deficient. I find that so crazy that even plants can experience things like iron deficiency! Stay tuned for progress in the future! I planted the seeds on May 23. #lemontree#lemontreeincanada#citrus#citrustreeincanada#gardening#garden#beginnergardener#farmtotable

Hello & I hope you had a great 3 day weekend! This weekend, I worked hours transplanting my plants from indoors to outdoors so I wanted to show off my hard work! This is one of those “real life” photos where my hair is in a pony, I have no makeup on, I’m in comfy & very dirty clothes, with my hands filled with dirt. Although I always show off photos of me being genuine, I usually only show off my pretty days. Pretty hair, pretty makeup, pretty clothes. And I do dress girly like that, however when I’m not done up like that, this is how you’ll find me. Me being me.
So cheers to the other kind of pretty photo 💕
Delighted with this Aquilegia grown from seed by my brother Jess. It has been trying to grow up and flower for the past few years but the roaming moorland sheep keep nibbling it.

Apple tree sprouts! You can see that each of these guys are starting to grow their “true leaves”. I will most definitely be doing a giveaway or donating these to the city because I can’t grow 4/5 apple trees 😂. I first germinated the seeds using the paper towel method from May 9-May 18, and then planted them on May 18! #appletree#appletreefromseed#gardening#farmtotable
Day 62 devoted to bees. Pyracantha buds have opened and form a nice background for bee photographs. Clockwise from left, honey bee, white tailed bumble bee, tree bumble bee (the non native invader). All workers. Will upload to #beescount . #gardens#GardenInspiration pic.twitter.com/7VBeSuyFAy

Another bountiful backyard harvest 🧡 We’re having a little heat wave here in California, hope you all are staying cool and hydrated, be sure to check if any new transplants or seedlings need an extra drink!
Mint, Basil and Cilantro from left to right. All of these #herbs were planted on May 18. It’s pretty obvious that the Basil has grown quite well so far. The #cilantro actually just sprouted up last night itself which was kind of relieving. The #mint has been quite a disappointment because I thought they grew like weeds? Maybe I am just being a little impatient. I also used some old soil as per my moms recommendation to plant the mint because it’s such a hardy herb that it can grow anywhere. Looking forward to when I can eat these though! #herbs#plantingherbs#growingherbs#beginnergardener#farmtotable#gardening

Update on my #geranium! I planted all of the seeds for these guys so I’m hoping they all sprout up soon. Geraniums are definitely one of my favourite #flowers and I’m looking forward to their #progress. #beginnergardener#gardening
