It's paperwhite season and our Original Designs team has found a beautiful modern way to finish off these fragrant bulb flowers planted containers - topped with shimmering pieces of rounded glass! A few of these might have to come home with us for hostess gifts. 😉⠀
What do you think? Are you growing paperwhites this year? How are you planting them?
Getting some of its beautiful colors back! I will finally repot it into a bigger pot since they happen to be very tightly together 🤩 I lost one of the four I had in this pot, it wasn’t receiving enough water. I realized these really like a good watering every week✨😊

I’ve been burrowed up in my studio, in these final days of Spring, making things simply for the joy of it. I’ve been weaving basket upon basket, sketching, making mobiles, playing with dried flowers and experimenting with needle and thread. I created this mushroom friend from an old doily my grandmother gave me and little fabric scraps. 🍄
When I’m not making things you’ll find me in the garden growing things. My spring vegetable garden has been a joy and I’ve been eating from it every single day. The rest of my garden is struggling under the weight of drought conditions and I’ve had to sacrifice parts of it to save on water. I am grateful for the parts I can tend to and I’ve been giving them extra attention.
My whale related creativity seems to have vanished with the migration south. Never fear, it is tucked up inside of me and will spill over again soon enough. But for now it’s all about following my whims and seeing where they take me. Summer is on its way and so I unfurl, branching out into new, fresh spaces. I am no longer resistant to change - I am ready to go wherever these meandering limbs take me. 💗
