Chocolate Protein Bliss Balls 😋
- 1/2 cup pitted dates
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut - 1/2 cup dried cranberries - 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 cashew nuts
- 4 squares dark chocolate
Blend together in a blender till fine, mix in two scoops of ON Isolate Chocolate Bliss Flavour, add just enough water to bind it together. Roll into balls and cover in desiccated coconut. Store in the fridge and enjoy as a snack. They won’t last long though!

How are you going to let someone else tell you where you’re going to end up or how far you’re going to go
It’s often easy for others to underestimate how deep your passion runs
This passion is what will allow you to overcome every hurdle
It will shine during your darkest and lowest of moments and give you the courage to face every single obstacle you may face on your journey
You may not be where you are today and there may be a thousand voices telling you that you aren’t good enough
But none of this matters in the long run
Stay consistent in your efforts and trust that everything is happening to promote your growth, getting you closer and closer to making the impact you’ve always dreamed of
You know better than anyone else what you’re capable of and why you have chosen the path you’re on
So long as your passion burns bright, there isn’t a single thing in this world that can keep you from getting to where you want to be
Let those that doubt you be in for the biggest surprise of their lives🔥
So over joyed by my experience as it exceeded my expectations. As I tear up writing this while on my way home from Chicago I couldn’t be more thankful. To have someone that has always believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. To think that I wasn’t even going to go to nationals because I didn’t think I was good enough, to having him install confidence in me to then getting top calls out on a national level. My goal was top 10 and I took home 3rd. When I thought 10 was a stretch. Not sure if you guys know because I don’t talk about it but but I got last call outs last year (pretty much last place) and it was the best thing that could have happened to me. Did it break me and make me feel like I was good enough yes. But I came back this year with that same fear. I heard my number get called for top call outs and I heard my coach screaming in the audience and that was the best experience ever. I wouldn’t be where I am today without him and I can’t thank him enough! @pogipatrickhertel I can tell you right now, I wouldn’t ever want a different coach, if you go to him and don’t stick with him it’s because you think it’s too hard and he won’t put you on the stage unless you deserve to be. Bring your A game and he will make you unstoppable! @schnre01 I can’t thank you enough for letting him spend so much time with all of us! Your family means the world to all of us, especially on Father’s Day weekend!

Most men have. And its not because we are bad people its just because we aren’t self aware and educated enough about how what we say and do actually affects them in a negative way. People often feel silenced when they are hurt, and often feel powerless to speak up. I would know in a sense because well, I have been bullied to the point where you just feel its normal and well, sometimes you just accept that is the way it is or that’s how it has to be✨
It takes “a real man” to really own up to his mistakes. While I never have done anything criminal, I have said and done things when I was younger that I felt was okay to say because well, other men did so, and because as a man I felt entitled to. I never had another man tell me that what I saying and doing wasn’t okay. I never in my heart would EVER hurt someone if I knew the pain I CAUSED because of my own lack of self awareness and education around the language I was using✨
but this victim stance I am taking does not justify my ignorance. Nothing justifies it. It helps me forgive myself a little, and instead of feeling ashamed about it, I share these experiences to hopefully connect with other men who have done the same to let them know that they CAN be better too. anyone can✨
The reality is that men’s violence against women whether it be sexual, emotion, physical, or mental is not just a women’s issue, its also a man’s issue. It hurts me deeply that there is a lack of representation of men acting in a way that respect women. It hurts me that I had to hurt other women only to learn later that I had hurt them and that be my lesson. Thats not fair to women because its our responsibility to educate ourself.
I am not pointing fingers. The best thing I am doing is taking a deep look inside of myself and asking myself how I can do better. I should also acknowledge that violence against men also happens too, from men too and from women too and there is women on women violence. Violence of all kinds dude✨
But the facts are that mostly men commit these crimes and AS A MAN I feel the need to address it

1. What Is Fasted Cardio?
What does “fasted” mean? First I’ll tell you what it doesn’t mean. It doesn’t just mean you’re running on an empty stomach. Your stomach probably feels empty an hour or so after a meal.
Your body is in a fasted state when you have not eaten for at least 8 hours. A good night’s sleep is a sufficient amount of time to get your body into a fasted state. When insulin levels are low because you haven’t eaten, your body has no choice but to burn fat. Naturally, this happens faster when you haven’t eaten for 8 hours.
2. How Is This Different Than Fed Cardio?
Fed cardio is when you workout while your body is still processing food and your insulin levels are high. If you eat a bagel before working out, what is your body burning? The bagel.
The higher your insulin levels are when you work out the less fat you’ll burn. After you eat a bagel or anything else, it takes minimally 4-6 hours for your insulin levels to come back down. Although insulin is vital for building lean muscle tone it is important to have low insulin levels for fat burning.
3. Is Fasted Cardio Safe?
Yes! As long as it's done carefully, it is totally beneficial to your fitness! When doing fasted cardio, our bodies are using a different source for energy than food, which would be fat! You can actually lose up to 20 percent more body fat working out on an empty stomach.
4. Can Habitual Use Lead to Health Conditions?
If you're doing it properly, no! There is always risks with everything but fasted cardio is something that should not put your health in danger. Everyone's body is different so just listen to what your body is telling you - ALWAYS! You can always consult your doctor beforehand when trying a new workout regime.
