Antique Multi-drawer unit - refurbished and perfect storage for an artist

You can turn small stuff on a big lathe but not big stuff on a small lathe.
A tiny little captains chair spindle here for a furniture restorer.
At 15mmØ x 40mm it’s made in beech for my customer to stain and polish when fitted.
Spinning at around 1500rpm.
The video is speeded up from around 4 minutes, apologies if the quality is questionable as I’ve zoomed it in a little. •

That came out real nice. Blockade primer and Farrow&Ball Light 22 tinted into WB50. About six coats to get this nice finish with sanding and filling between every every coat . However...have you ever heard of @sacoyacandles? They are WONDERFUL! And smell divine! I was gifted this lovely candle to try from Hazel at Sacoya Candle Company. We love our candles, we have them on all the time! But I have never had a soy waxed candle before, so this was a real treat! Hazel hand pours all her own candles in Cornwall from her very own kitchen. They come in either a glass jar or a rose gold coloured tin - and the smell is amazing. Well worth it 👌🏼
