We believe in the healing powers of fruits and vegetables. To energize, to heal, to remove obstructions, acids, mucus, chemicals, metals that block the flow of energy and keep your cells from functioning properly, theres ONE thing that will help bring that life flow back to the body and that’s the living food(and fresh juices). We can try to complicate things with “cutting back” on animal products & fast food, doing diets fads, the whole he said/she said, this article or that study but it REALLY comes down to simplifying one thing. Consuming more RAW fruits, vegetables and fresh juices. JUST DO IT. In a world where we don’t have control of many things, WE DO ultimately control what we eat. Simplify and get back to the basics today. Eat an apple or drink a green juice today and build on each day moving forward. CAN DOGS BE VEGAN?!🧐
I’ve been quiet for a while. I’ve posted What I Feed My Vegan Dog videos on YouTube only to get serious backlash saying things like “You’re going to hell”, “you should be in prison”, “have your dog taken away” & much worse things than that. This post was motivated by some backlash I saw my bro @domzthompson got about his pup @scruffmcfly being vegan. Scruff had a heart issue that the vet years ago said she would only live up to 6-7 years old. Her heart condition was progressing rapidly & she was having complications breathing. Domz took matters in his own hands doing research & educating himself finding that dogs are true omnivores. So he transitioned her to eating plant-based, she’s now 13 and she’s healthy as can be. BUT THE QUESTION I HAVE FOR YOU WHO ATTACK US & DON’T EVEN CONSIDER IT IS THIS. At what point will you be open to educating yourself on NEW studies & science on this & start seeing, listening or understanding dogs can thrive & like humans, prevent or possibly even reverse disease on a plant-based diet? @noah_the_vegan has been vegan 5 years, his bloodwork has been perfect, his coat is clearly shiny, healthy and his energy is through the roof. Is he going to have to live until 20 for you to believe it? The crazy thing is, a big majority of dog owners feed their dogs commercial canned food(AKA Fast Food) from the store w/fillers, additives, preservatives & other garbage. One study I just read is 40% of dogs in America are obese. When I adopted Noah 6 years ago he was 9 lbs. he’s still 9 lbs. Noah’s fed all organic, half raw, half cooked plant-base, high fat/protein diet while drinking fresh coconut water daily. I feed & treat him as if he’s my child. I’m very aware & conscious of what enters his body. And w/all do respect because I’ve had very open & excellent vets, most Veterinarians, like med doctors, learn relatively VERY little about nutrition in school. Much of what they do learn comes directly from pet food company vets, sales reps, articles, studies & seminars. So before you attack us & the way we feed our children(which I wouldn’t tell you how to feed yours) let’s get the proper info & education on this matter.💯

Plummmss 😍✨ Unfortunately our bike trailer cannot attach to the bike. They made the attachment the wrong size! We tried Craig's bike, my bike, and even a few other peoples random bikes locked up. This attachment didn't fit any of the bike seat posts 🧐 so we had to do our food haul today with our backpacks and panniers only, again 🙈🤭 37km round trip took an hour and 45 mins, because of the hills. I hope Craig can figure out how to make it work with the bike trailer because it's definitely not sustainable for us using only backpacks & his panniers 🤔

WHO DOESN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THEIR JUICE PULP AND LOVES CARROT CAKE?!🙋🏽♂️
How about raw vegan carrot cake? I had a lot of carrot pulp left over from the carrot juice so put together this super delicious, fast and easy ingredient raw carrot cake. The cake consist of roughly 2 cups of carrot pulp, 1/2 cup of walnuts, 1 cup of dates, 1/2 cup of shredded coconut and a sprinkle of cinnamon. The frosting is simply a cup of cashews, a few dates and a squeeze of lemon juice. I promise it’s super easy to make, a perfect healthy choice for those that have a sweet tooth like myself, but just make sure you keep it out of reach from your kids and fur children. Next time I’ll put on top the refrigerator 🤷🏽♂️.

This morning I was lucky enough to have the BEST grapes I’ve had this entire season 😍 I’ve been living off grapes for breakfast (and dates! YUM!) the last several weeks and am savoring every bite since the season will be ending soon! I’ve also been enjoying the thomcord variety and love that they taste like candy 😅🤤 So how are you guys??? I’ve manifested some beautiful changes lately - but with this has also brought loss. It’s been a push pull but I’m realizing that long term all of this is a good thing. I keep focusing on what’s bringing my heart joy even if it’s the small things 😳🙏 I hope you are having a beautiful day and I love you all so much ✨

WHOS HAD PUMPKIN JUICE?🎃
That’s right, this is one of my favorite pumpkin juice recipes. Carrots, pumpkin (pie pumpkin), apple(honeycrisp makes it sweeter), ginger and turmeric. You can even add a dash of cinnamon if you’d like for extra flavor. Pumpkins are loaded with Vitamin A, C, E and carotenoids which means They make for a POWERFUL anti-inflammatory, they’re great for heart health, a good source of potassium and zinc, good for skin health, helps with sleep and helps boosts immunity and mood. @noah_the_vegan and I are big fan of pumpkins juice as you can see. I also used my favorite juicer, the @tribestlife green star elite since it gets you maximum nutrients, excellent taste and very minimal pulp. You can also store up to three days since it’s a twin gear, cold pressed, slow juicer. I’ve had this juicer for five years, have tried many but this is by far the cream of the crop if you’re looking to invest in a good, or in my opinion the best juicer.

Homophobia and transphobia are unfortunately still widespread. There is deeply rooted fear and hatred in society that causes people to live in fear, remain hidden, and suppress their sexuality. It causes violence. It causes self-hatred. It causes distress. It causes children and adults to take their lives, all because they have been told to think that they are not good enough as they are. They are told to believe that their love is wrong.
It’s time we smash that fear and hatred then set it ablaze.

Went 5 days with just grapes (& soaked raisins), tea and water and I just caved in but I'm so proud of myself. Why? Because it was dried apricots lol. It was a hella impulsive decision though. Went all through the work day with just water and then when I got back, my refurbished tablet came in The mail. I turn it on, set it up and then find out after trying to download apps that it can't download shit because it's such an old model. Not the biggest deal because I can just use the browser or I can return it but I was a little bummed. I scootered over to the store trying to fill my void of disappointment and I was called by the apricots. At least I'm emotionally eating dried fruit. That's an improvement. I'm back at it mañana though. I'm feeling really good. My body for the past couple of days has felt real flexible and my energy has been steady. Day 11 of 12
Ok so today was MUCH better. Which tells me that this cleanse is almost done. Woke up, no headache at all. Mild crankiness to get my day started, but then after the girls went to school, I cleaned my house, then had an amazing Legs and Back workout. I was totally drenched and felt so good. I love workouts that leave you feeling accomplished after you're done.
My mood was good and no signs of dizziness or headache. The coating on my tongue was gone. I use a tongue scrapper to get rid of that. If you have a white coating, I suggest rinsing your mouth out shortly after drinking your juice. Yes, its tedious but you'll thank me later.
Other than that, I juiced beets today so that also boosted my energy. Tomorrow I'll head to the gym, then my God daughters 1st birthday. I'll bring my juices to finish up my cleanse. Then on Sunday I'll break it. All in all this cleanse has been pretty smooth. Just weird emotions really. This tells me I need to get on the meditation train and sort though my thoughts. In the past I've dealt with depression and anxiety so I know my cleanse is deeper down.

Meditation has been a key factor in my spiritual growth and overall healing.
It has not given me supernatural powers, nor has it brought me into states of ecstatic bliss.
The personal benefits of this daily practice have been much more subtle. I experience higher levels of clarity throughout my day. My thought process is sharp and snappy. A deeper presence permeates my being and I am highly conscious of my thoughts, emotions and behavior. This allows me to reflect very quickly and objectively on my actions and my reactions to others.
When it comes to bipolar, becoming self aware is a major gamechanger. Meditation has certainly helped me to do this. Bipolar disorder really only existed when I was not responsible for my thoughts, emotions and behavior.
Through the power of presence, I have been moving into bipolar in-order. A state of equanimity with my condition. I still experience the same high levels of sensitivity brought on by heightened flows of energy and information, but it doesn't throw me off like it used to.
I had this vision that the last meal I’d eat before my sister gave birth to her beautiful newborn child were some concord grapes. Blamo—it was. And I’ve never felt so connected to someone through the entire process. Welcome to the world little girl ☺️ I hope to be a wonderful support system in your life. We be workin’ with some Virgo energy btw haha! Can’t wait for it to all to unfold.
So real talk, #grapeful2k19. Thank you @student_of_light_, @plan3tbas3d and @lightsamps for being a guide and sharing so much wisdom. We were not on mono grapes but @happily_healing & I have juiced 2 bushels of local seeded concord grapes the last 2 weeks and we still got more. It was a blessing seeing everyone reach out to one another and feel so supported whether you were on just grapes or simply incorporating them everyday.
I will say these grapes are definitely not for beginners. Felt a little colon tickle the first two days and after that I’ve been good. They used to destroy me in the past so thankkkk youuuu body for coming so far. Pretty much how they make my mouth feel is how they’d make my colon feel. Sometimes my mouth feels like it’s been hit with sand paper and can burn a bit. Anyone else get the colon tickle?

🔥VEGAN FROSTED MOUSSE CREAM MUFFINS🔥
You know what time it is!! Check out this epic creation from Noa I can’t wait to devour all of these!! YUMMMM!! 😍😍😍😍
A vanilla fluffy egg free muffin with a protein chocolate mousse cream frosting 😍😍 fav new muffin! I’ve been making this non stop the past few weeks to make sure it’s perfect as egg free muffins can be tricky!!
•120g organic white spelt flour (or gf 1-1)
•1 slightly heaped tbs of corn starch 10g
•25-30g protein I use @macr0mike vanilla
•1tsp baking powder
•1/2 tsp baking soda
•5 tbs maple syrup 75-80ml
•2 tbs coconut oil 30ml
•50g apple sauce (banana or another 2 tbs oil)
•1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond/ oat or coconut milk
•1 tsp vanilla extract
•150g thick coconut yoghurt
•1 tbs cacao/cocoa powder
•15g choc protein @macr0mike Easter egg/chocolate/ choc hazelnut or an extra tbs of cacao)
•20g sweetener @natvialiving
•1 + tbs of runny caramel sauce /almond butter/ or 20g melted milk chocolate
Preheat oven to 180•c. In a bowl whisk all wet ingredients. Sift in flours/ protein and baking powders with a pinch of salt. Mix and adjust milk if needed. Spray 8 muffin liners then Bake for 15-18 minutes. Don’t over bake you want them to be soft and fluffy. Let cool and frost only day of consuming.
For frosting Whip all ingredients together. Taste and adjust sweetness with more natvia /maple of choice of extra. Distribute frosting to muffins (frosting only day of consumption) top with a chocolate square 😍 keep muffins without frosting in a sealed container

Fruit is gentle on our digestive system, and as our bodies are at their highest point of detoxification while we’ve been fasting, it’s important not to load up on harsh digesting foods like meat, eggs, dairy or grains first thing in the morning.
