Do's and Don'ts of Healthy Holistic diet.
Food should be enjoyed as well as nutritious.
This do's and don'ts are highly recommended in Ayurveda that will help with maximizing the digestive process and promoting good health.
Do's. 💠Eat to satisfy your own requirements, nobody else's.
• we often don't consider "our" need of food and depend on external factors.
• most of the time it is seen that in addition to regular food, the leftover is dumped inside our belly
💠Choose the quality and quantity of food which u know suits you very well.
• instead of trying on some fancy diets, try to stick to your roots. Food which we are eating since our childhood are the building blocks of our body.
💠 Keep eating surroundings spotlessly clean and calm.
• free from any clutter and mess, it should be quite hygienic.
• always insist on eating in an Indian bethak position. (sitting down cross legged)
💠 Neither eat too quickly nor too slowly.
• eat at a moderate pace.
💠 Pay full attention to the food you eat.
• keep your mobile phones away and TV switched off. 💠 Consume your food at proper temperature. Neither too hot nor too cold.
• extreme food temperatures can cause damage to taste buds and burn the skin of oral cavity.
💠 Such food articles should be consumed together which are compatible with one another inordee to digest them completely; as differet types of gastric juices are needed to digest them properly.
🔻Don't talk while eating.
🔻Don't laugh while consuming food. 🔻Don't snack too much in between two consecutive meals.
🔻Don't eat untill the previously consumed food has been fully digested. (average gap between two meals is 4-5 hours)

Four years ago, West Virginia made work requirements more stringent in order for people to receive food stamps. The result? Skyrocketing demand at food pantries across the state. "In the early mornings, Chastity and Paul Peyton walk from their small and barely heated apartment to Taco Bell to clean fryers and take orders for as many work hours as they can get. It rarely adds up to a full-time week’s worth, often not even close. With this income and whatever cash Mr. Peyton can scrape up doing odd jobs — which are hard to come by in a small town in winter, for someone without a car — the couple pays rent, utilities and his child support payments.
Then there is the matter of food. “We can barely eat,” Ms. Peyton said. She was told she would be getting food stamps again soon — a little over two dollars’ worth a day — but the couple was without them for months. Sometimes they made too much money to qualify; sometimes it was a matter of working too little. There is nothing reliable but the local food pantry." #foodjusticefridays#foodjustice#hunger#foodinsecurity#injustice#inequality#sociology#handsoffsnap#foodstamps

Toast nya @janjijiwa @kopijanjijiwa
2.9 million healthy adults under 50 with no children use food stamps.
2.1 million of these people aren’t working.
Households with children are NOT affected by new 20 hr work week rules for benefits.
Socialists on the left LIE about this. I called it out because FACTS MATTER.
Where are your tax dollars really going? Do we want corporate welfare more than we want social welfare? Economic development all across the country is getting less open — and both Democrats and Republicans are doing it. In fact, in many cases, the politicians themselves aren’t even the ones negotiating for the public. When corporations get special handouts from the government, we have to pay more in taxes to make up for these hidden tax breaks, subsidies, and loopholes. Every year, states and local governments give economic-development incentives to companies to the tune of between $45 billion and $80 billion. Why such a wide range? It’s not sloppy research; it’s because many of these subsidies are not public.
For the known subsidies, such as Maryland’s recent $8.5 billion incentive bid for Amazon’s second headquarters, the support includes cash grants for company relocations, subsidized land, forgiving company taxes on everything from property taxes to sales taxes and investments in infrastructure for the company. Maryland is even offering to give 5.75 percent of each worker’s salary back to the company, which is the maximum state income tax rate for individuals. Employees will pay taxes that will be routed back to Amazon..

Step one-don’t judge. Step two-be grateful for things you have that others pray for. The truth is that we don’t always see the whole picture. We think our vision is clear. We can unmistakably spot the flaws in other people. We can see that their behavior is sinful, their parenting styles “terrible.” We assume that some these people don’t have to work as hard as we did to get some of the same benefits.
But we don’t always see the other side of the picture. We might not focus on the struggles in other people’s lives. We don’t appreciate the suffering that so many live with and the family situations that are agonizing for them. It can be too easy for us to simply dismiss people by what we see – and move on with a feeling of satisfaction, grateful that our lives are better than theirs.
If asked why we judge others so harshly, our protests ring loudly:
“I’m not judging them, just observing what I see!” “Aren’t we supposed to be troubled by ‘bad’ things other people do?”
“If I notice something wrong in someone’s behavior, shouldn’t I be disturbed by it?” To really see the whole picture for what it is, we have to remove the huge plank of wood from our own eyes before we can point out the splinter in someone else’s eye.
Why do we spend so much time judging those around us? Why do we aim so much energy, anger, frustration and impatience at others? It can be a good exercise in life to take a look at what is underneath our own behavior when we are critical of others. .
