For those of you who have asked about my flesh-tone palette, I’ve captured a time-lapse of how I mix it. The tube colors, in order of appearance, are as follows: Titanium White, Ivory Black, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre, Raw Umber, Burnt Sienna (again), Venetian Red (and then a second dab), Burnt Umber, Cadmium Red, Scarlet Lake, and Cadmium Orange. These are Winsor Newton colors. #oilpainting#colormixing#fleshtones#palette#timelapse

Constant reminder for every powerful babe out there ⚡️
You are a powerful woman.
A constant source of inspiration and strength.
18x24in gallery wrap canvas.
Update on this piece I've been working on... I started with a #grisaille underpainting , put that a side to dry for a couple week's, was hesitant to rework the canvas with color. Its an oil painting technique I'm really not that familiar with and honestly thought I'd fuck it up but im really looking forward to seeing how this piece turns out. You can still see a lot of the original gray under painting showing through at this stage... I think it looks pretty cool. Reminds me a little bit of hand colored photographs . .
Throwback to 2007 when I used thousands of magazine cutouts to make a giant mosaic. I was very in-my-head about the layout, but the reality is that it’s just very soothing to look at, and I didn’t need to worry! • •
