A hearty salmon dinner that’s sure to impress! Would you eat them plain or top them with a sauce?
1 1/4 lbs skinless salmon
1 cup panko bread crumbs, divided
2 1/2 Tbsp minced fresh parsley
2 green onions, chopped (1/3 cup)
1 garlic clove, minced (1 tsp)
3 Tbsp mayonnaise
1 1/2 tsp lemon zest, plus lemon wedges for serving
1 tsp dijon mustard
3/4 tsp old bay seasoning
1 egg yolk

The only way to see any form of change within yourself is to practice the things that will get you results. You can never expect to do something you've never done before. Think of anything you want out of life, it would be super convenient to pin not having this said thing on genetics or any other external variable. But, the real answer is a lack of application.

Everyday when you wake up, you get a chance to make improvements in your character, so that when you go to sleep at night you're a slightly more improved version of yourself. For overall knee hygiene, prehab and rehab programs can incorporate knee specific exercises, also including adjacent structures, that can improve knee joint function. Certain trends seen in clinic🏥for those that have sustained knee injuries include weakness in quads, hams, and glutes🍑 and/or reduced mobility in knee and hip joints.

Next Thursday, June 20th I’ll be leading a three mile run where we will end at Fig Mountain in the Funk Zone for a drink after. If you know my story you know I used to loathe running, but I started just like this, committing to running just a few miles at a time and eventually started to love running so much that I decided to run my first marathon this past March. BE A STUDENT OF THE GAME
There are a lot of factors that go into optimizing performance and movement, and I will be the first person to tell you that it takes time to get there.
We are largely all refining our technique, and it takes time to master a skill. Especially one involving moving with a lot of external force trying to oppose us. So the process is often about learning, tweaking, refining, and honing your skill over time.
In that process, you will likely find what works best for you and your body.
As you get there though, we can work with some basic guidelines to help guide the process.
One, technique should feel somewhat comfortable. There is likely going to be a breaking in period for many new things, but as an overarching rule, the technique shouldn't make you apprehensive or feel pain.
Two, it should suit your goals. For strength purposes, this often means getting your body in a basic position to move the weight efficiently for your body and its anatomical makeup and being able to progress with that technique for a long time. We're all a bit different so that naturally will lead to some variability in movement too.
From there, we can get a base technique. It's comfortable and it's moving the weight efficiently. And now, after some time and practice, you can work on tweaking and refining.
This is where you might play with different grips, stances, toe flare, elbow flare, rib positioning, bracing strategies, etc and really find what feels optimal to you.
Personally, I think saving these things until you know the basic movement is useful in that you don't get too caught up in the fine details too early and lose the forest for the trees, but I know there are different opinions out there on that, and I understand them as well.
Once you've settled on something that feels most efficient for you, your build, your leverages, and your strengths and weaknesses, you can continue to hone, master, and refine them across a lifetime of training.
Training is a long game. We never stop learning and we never stop refining. Always be a student of the game.
