SOUTHFIT CrossFit Challenge seeks to find the man, woman and team with the best physical condition in the region by testing them in all the physical capacities recognized in a human being.
SOUTHFIT CrossFit Challenge was developed within the Latin American affiliate community in 2013 as a result of local support for the Latin American region. In that community spirit, SOUTHFIT CrossFit Challenge offers competency categories for all levels of athletes.
Martin Casas @tulukamartin and Nicolas Ini @soldadotuluka, owners of CrossFit TULUKA and southFIT CrossFit Challenge organizers , they say that the event has been very inclusive in the categories from the beginning because we wanted to give our community the opportunity to compete.

“It’s not always how far you can run in the quickest time. But how far you can run in the time you have”
I have managed to put some good mileage in while away in Thailand and UK in the last 3 weeks. But busy hectic day yesterday, 7 hours at @chesterzoo with this kids wiped me out. Just as manic day today as well, only gave me 30mins this morning to lace up and go for a run, and that was absolutely fine with me. Happy to slow it down, enjoy the run and get what I can from it physically and mentally. Ready for the day!
Yes I went for a run this morning.
No I didn’t expect to sweat so much.
Yes I’m tired and grouchy.
No I didn’t get much sleep in last night’s epic double storm.
Yes I wanted to run 10km.
No I didn’t expect to run into Cannon Hill Park and expect it to look like the beginnings of a land-fill site.
Yes I stopped to pick up some rubbish with the groundsman, taking 15 minutes off my intended run time.
No I didn’t make much difference, but I tried.
Yes I nearly got run over, twice, at two separate crossings by people who considered a red stop light to be either advisory, or just a pretty decoration.
No I won’t let anything ruin today.

It was slow.
It felt uncoordinated
And the Breathing wasn't comfortable
But it's done.
20 minutes of running with nasal only breathing.
I've not run in an age, so this is day one.
The goal isn't to become a runner again, it's simply to build the aerobic system.
Extended periods of effort while nasal breathing is one of the best ways to build the aerobic system.
Although, my heart rate was too high this morning, but that's largely because I was working on getting my running stride back, it started to happen near the end.
Next session will be better
The 10x10 push ups was just to finish off with.
