I love teaching group fitness.⠀
This was a charity class I took last year to raise funds for youth mental health & suicide prevention. We raised $130 on the day and $1200 over a three week period (where we also did 3217 push ups!)⠀
One of tthe BEST things about running my own business is I get to decide how I give back to the community.⠀
Highlighting and normalizing mental health is something I'm passionate about.⠀
Would you be interested in attending a charity group fitness class to raise funds for mental health in March? Let me know in the comments!
All of these women gave birth...
Many of us envision what our birthing experience will be like and it totally doesn’t go that way.
I’m learning to accept and embrace my birth story. Have you? Don’t let anyone make you feel that one way of birth is better than another. We all have our stories and they are equally beautiful and more importantly yours.
How have you embraced your birth story?

Today I celebrate my 40th birthday. As I sit and think of everything that has happened, I know it was all for a reason. The good, the bad, the happiness, the depression, the laughter, the crying. Far from perfect, but nothing is. It has helped shape the person you see today and has prepared me for the journey I now face ahead.
I know I have so much room for improvement yet in all areas of my life. Better father, son, brother, friend, etc.. Not perfect, but better than I was. That’s all we can hope to be is a better version of ourselves each and every day.
From here I embrace everything that comes my way. I will continue to push myself out of my comfort zone. I will not fear failure as it is a part of success. And I will continue to inspire those who need it. So here’s to another great 40 years. Cheers!! •

❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣

So proud of this little lady. For once I get to hold her up ❤ I can't believe it's been a week since my mom had freaking brain surgery. Last week was so surreal as well as the lead up to the day.
Again I am so thankful to every single person who has reached out on here, via text, in person, visited my mom, etc. I appreciate it so much.
My mom is doing well and back at home to really start the healing part of her recovery process. She has a wonderful table full of flowers! Words can never express how grateful I am to be on the other side of it all and for my mom to be okay. She has had some PTSD and feeling like she is preparing for surgery all over at times, and I can't say I'm not having a little post-surgery anxiety as well. I can't quite describe it, but am navigating it.
I definitely want to take a second to shout out my amazingly, strong Grandma as well. She was doing double duty having not only her daughter in the hospital but also her husband - ICU for most of it. She's on 14 days straight of hospital visits. The women in my family (fellas you too lol) are so strong and sometimes I just don't know how we do it. Truly magic. With my own personal emotional week and then the tragedy of Kobe Bryant, his daughter, and all of the passengers, I just want to encourage everybody to really hold your loved ones close and enjoy life.
Every day is an opportunity and I'm personally looking forward to finally settling in to this New Year after being out of town and the surgery whirlwind. I've been training with an amazing national company this week teaching invaluable arts integration, school is poppin', and there's just so many things to be thankful for. Let's all be a little more present, live life to the fullest, and take care of ourselves & each other. 💖🙌🏾💯
.. of KANU men ( including those who refused to embrace other political parties even after removal of section 2A in 1991) are not voted in.
That is when this generation will see economic progress after Kibaki.

It is important to deal with the demons we are facing, for there is no better way to win over them.
The more one tries to run away, more powerful and bigger it keeps getting.
And reality is, Each one is facing their own. Least one can do is to be kind with the other. Kindness is the medicine that can heal almost everything.
Let's Be Kind ❤✨ #bekind#embrace#accept#heal#nlp#lifelessons#coachdhanashree

Humans For Humanity organised a W A S H workshop today at NIV Vidyamandir, village Nangla Nangloi. The menstrual hygiene workshop was organised for the girls at the school & their mothers, followed by pad distribution for two months. Dr. Shobha Kaul interacted explained the biological reasons of menstruation and as to what all measures should be taken during periods. Being a wellness expert Dr. Kaul also made them understand about nutrition and healthy living and had an amazing yoga session after the workshop. Akassh K Aggarwal along with Aruna ji made the little ones understand about many other social issues and how to deal with them. Thank you Harvinder Kaur for spearheading the activity and all others who went all the way to the village to conduct the workshop. The joy in them charges us up, gives us a kick to do more on life, we have many such supporters who have backed the project and helped us sustain - would like to thank Khushi Singh for sending a contribution from London to distribute 200 packets of napkins....❤😊🙏

Does this hit home for you? It does for me.
Taking risks is meant to feel scary, but overcoming this fear is your only ticket to experiencing new and exciting things.
We should all learn to embrace risk rather than fear it. It is one of our greatest learning tools.
When have you taken a risk that paid off? Tell me about your experience in the comments below 👇
