Yesterday I said good bye to a friend.
I decided it was best for my whippet and I if he goes to a new home. The new owner has a yard that I dont have and is home all day while i am usually away.
It wasnt an easy desicition and me and pumpkin miss him already. I am happy for the weeks I got with him as it was the first time I have spent a serious amount of time with a hound.
I really enjoyed the expirence and once I have my personal affairs more in order I will think of getting another.
Lola’s a little unsure about her new friend Henri. Isn’t he the cutest!? 😍 Mummy and Daddy’s friends brought him over for a little play date a couple of weeks back. Adorable 🥰

***Tips for managing Osteoarthritis*** Osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative disease that primarily affects the articular cartilage covering the end of the bones eventually leading to the exposure of subchondral bone. Other typical features include a reduction in joint space and inflammation of the synovial membrane (connective tissue that surrounds the joint) leading to a self-perpetuating cycle of joint pain. The chronic inflammation and local tissue damage leads to the development of bony protrusions in an attempt to limit movement and pain.
Although OA is a progressive disease and cannot be cured, the rate at which it develops is variable and can be influenced by many different factors; treatment is therefore aimed at managing the problem with a multimodal approach that is responsive to any changes in your dog’s condition.
Some of the best and most simple ways to help your furry pal involve small adaptations to the home environment. Things to consider include;
Using rugs, runners or non-slip aids on slippery surfaces
Avoiding unnecessary stair use and/, or replacing steps with ramps
Using supportive bedding such as memory foam
Being mindful of your dogs presentation in colder weather
Reducing or modifying thy type of exercise you are doing
Using raised food and water bowls, discussing the appropriate diet for your dog with you vet or vet nurse and considering additional joint supplements
Having regular review of your pet to ensure analgesia is optimised

Apparently scientists have discovered a way to turn 55-year-old dog shit from the year 2019 into a rare gem that shines like a human rights violation-free diamond. And it is glorious.
Welcome brother Peter.
Once upon a time there was a hairy person who fell in love with a young dog. Their love was taboo. Thus, they decided to scurry off together at Mc'Donald's. In this place they were finally free to be with one another. After three years, they gave birth to a young alien.

I was going nuts about the dog. I have 2 little dogs who had a bad owner and they recovered quickly with my bernese mountain dog (most gentle giant ever). I think we have to put her on a leash and drag her around the park. Not to mention the crazy behavior towards this man
To be fair, I know a 50+ (73 actually) year old Ivy (Penn) grad that is the most terrifying person in the world.
Are ALL 50+ year old Ivy grads are terrifying.
Cheney Ivy grad 79
Bush Ivy grad 73
So far, I think we have a pattern. Maybe Mr. Cooper is terrifying?
