Not the way I expected this school year to end.... but made the most of it! 🤓With my favorite co-teacher of course 🥰 We are dedicated teachers 👩🏼🏫 even from a distance. I love my team ♥️. #GTA#globaltechacademy#distancelearning
Hola!!
Espero que les sirva!

I’ve got NEWS 🎉
For the first time in my teaching career, I’m changing schools! 😱 It’s been an honor to teach in the same building for the last 5 years. I’ve had the opportunity to love on the sweetest students & partner with the most amazing parents, but now God is writing a new chapter for me. 💕
This has been such a process, but I am so excited & grateful for the next step in my teaching journey!😊🙌🏽 Your girl is staying in 2nd (because you know it’s my favorite, and the best! 😉) but will be switching from private christian to the public school system. 😮
Will I face new challenges? ABSOLUTELY. Will I feel ready for all of them? Probably not. But I am eager to learn. I am eager to try new things & use & stretch the gifts I already have. I believe God equips the called, and no doubt he called me! ☎️
I’m soooo pumped about my new school & can’t wait to share more about it in the future! 💪🏽🥰Check out my stories for more on my classroom move, and drop any advice you have for me below! 👇🏽

Not how we expected to end the school year but we made the best out of it. Seeing her teacher made her day, talked about new adventures and future goals. Lexie is officially 2nd grader! #socialdistancing#distancelearning#quarantinelife#1stgradesurvivor2020
In response to our new distancing practices, we are continuing to offer our Summer semester online!
With Music Together Online, you’ll have access to the same high-quality music and movement curriculum loved by millions of families and teachers around the world—from home!
During each mini-class, your favorite teachers will lead activities for you and your whole family to sing, play, and jam along to. We’ll be using songs from the Kazoo collection, and your teacher will show you how to make everyday items like dish towels, pots, and stuffies into musical props! Classes are appropriate for children under 5—but the whole family is welcome (and encouraged!) to participate!
When you enroll, you will receive a code to download your music through our award-winning Hello Everybody app, a hard-copy songbook, and a CD.
Choose from the full 9-week semester or a shortened 6-week session!

During our last morning meeting I shared a message with my homeroom. I hope they carry this with them throughout their lives, especially during these times of adversity: Be kind to others. Be kind to your family. Above all, be kind to yourself. •
All my love and more for this special group. I’m ready to eat a GIGANTIC bowl of ice cream at tomorrow’s 5th grade ice cream party. 🍦🥰 •

Last day of school, last day of distance learning (hopefully).... Thank the Lord!!!! Scarlett said today “you get to be our mommy again!” The last few months with distance learning have been so emotionally challenging! I lost many nights of sleep wondering what it was doing to my relationship with my daughter especially. But I also recognize how fortunate our family is that we had more than one electronic device for them to use, we had a space that was able to be their school space, I was able to dedicate a lot of time to helping them through their distance learning. But I do not want to do this again. They need their friends and teachers! #laderaranch#distancelearning

Some of the awesome learning this week in K5 consisted of creating marble mazes and towers!#distancelearning pic.twitter.com/lAGN81BeUT
My little firsties are officially second graders!!! Every year I hold a mini ceremony in my classroom and invite parents. I start off with a slideshow of memories, share second grade expectations, and end it with their promotion certificates!
I didn’t want to take that away from my students so we ended the year the same way, it just looked a little different! We went virtual! I used slidemania to create my presentation and presented it all through Zoom! And guess what? It was awesome! Yes, we shed some tears at the end, but all so worth it! This class will forever hold a special place in my heart❤️! Anyone do something similar?

Look at this kid! I guess having a teacher mom means you're totally killing it at distance learning! Super freaking easy and the best experience ever! Did anyone else see my nose grow? I am such a liar!
I have been teaching for longer than this kid has been alive. I have some experience with pretty much every grade level from kindergarten to 12th grade. Teachers are the first to say it. We can teach other people's kids all day long, but our own? The struggle is real, friends, and we are right there with you!
The tantrums, the whining, the shutting down... We have run the gamet in the Brown house. I like to think I'm a pretty good teacher. I mean, my students seem to think so. My son? He thinks I'm the worst!
Teachers do not have it all together right now and teacher moms? We have totally lost it! Don't feel bad if distance learning isn't the dream your friends seem to project. It's definitely not sunshine and daisies over here. In the trenches.

🎓✨MOVING UP CELEBRATION ✨🎓 CLASS OF 2020 WE DID IT!! This year is definitely a memorable one in my book. Started the year with many challenges: facing a younger age group this year. It certainly was a year filled with obstacles that pushed me to adapt to change and hardship, but it was a year I’m thankful for. A school year that pushed me to become a better teacher and all around person. We ended the year not anticipating the worst, but with my team we prevailed. We triumphed over Distance Learning & proved to ourselves and our students that in times of trouble we will still MOVE ON FORWARD 🙏🏽 Thank You to my wonderful team and heartwarming students for making it alive this school year! 💙👼🏻💙👼🏽💙👼🏾💙👼🏿💙 #LittleAngelsPreschool#MovingUpAssembly#GraduationDay#ZoomGraduation#DistanceLearning#Zoom#PreschoolTeacher#ProudEducator
It is so exciting to receive supplies from my Amazon classroom wishlist!
I plan to use these dry erase sentence strips for writing vocabulary & objectives, and the pillow cases will go on cushions in my classroom library. ✨
From Craig Mattson :: Our students learned so much about resilience this school year after our collective lives were interrupted by a global pandemic. We are proud of our students, parents, and teachers for extraordinarily working together. It was so good to visit a school again and see the end-of-year parade at Kirkland Adventist School. All students, at each of our 19 schools, completed the school year with a full transcript and no state-offered waivers. We strive every day to give Adventist students the full advantages of a whole person education.
So proud of my girls! Today was the last day of school and they did such a great job with #distancelearning. It was a big transition but they made it happen and worked hard. They wanted to celebrate with some #chickfila today! It’s officially summer and they are officially a first-grader and a sophomore 💕
No end of the year class photo, but here’s most of the class of 2029 🚀and their amazing parents. By no means was this year the one we’d hoped for but these parents stepped up to make the best of it. Thank you all for everything you do; you are essential. 🙏🏻♥️. #iteachthirdgrade#distancelearning#lalilo
My best friend painted this for me and I cannot wait to put it in my classroom! 🤩🌵 I’m slowly collecting more and more items for my room, I can’t wait for the fall!
