Grateful for the journalists at the @washingtonpost and around the world who do the work, no matter the risk or dangers they face.

Two Pulitzers for The Post! Great reporting requires patience, grit and a willingness to follow a story wherever it leads, whether Alabama or Moscow. I’m proud of @washingtonpost#Pulitzer winners! And congrats to the @nytimes, as well! #DemocracyDiesInDarkness

Today is a special day. 1. It’s #WorldWaterDay so I want to celebrate @charitywater , one of my favorite nonprofits that always inspires me to focus on putting good into this world. 2. On that note, I have focused on my commitment to serving the greater good by supporting powerful and influential journalism through the lens of business, design, marketing and strategy for the last couple of years. It truly feels like there’s never been a more important time to support an organization with the motto #DemocracyDiesInDarkness . 3. Thank you to @austinkgraff@washpostlife for featuring me in today’s #flashbackfriday series. The Post is my home now, and I’m grateful for it. 💯

For my fellow journalists killed in the line of duty while reporting on the horrors of war today.
For those who haven’t heard. A bunch (unconfirmed number) of foreign journalists were driving with a CIVILIAN Kurdish convey to a border town. Near the city, their convey was struck by an airstrike. One journalist is confirmed dead, multiple are believed to be dead, and many are thought to have been injured. They were unarmed and doing their jobs. They did not deserved to be killed.
The world is watching while civilians and journalists are murdered. Please inform yourselves with what is happening, so that my colleagues work is not in vain.
My thoughts and useless prayers go out to the families and colleagues of the journalists killed today.
