This may not mean a lot to you, but it means the world to me.
3 weeks ago, I made a commitment to myself as well as my virtual Bootcamp that I would PUSH myself and not miss a workout. I’m happy to say that I have COMPLETED phase 1 of my Melt it off in 💯days challenge.
When I started this program 3 weeks ago, I had no idea what to expect. It was the FEAR of the unknown. I thought it was going to be “TOO HARD.” I conquered my fears and I pushed myself out of my comfort zone on a daily basis. I’m thankful for the TWO modifiers in every workout.
In any moment we have two options: to step forward in growth or step back into safety.
I’m choosing to step forward into growth and PUSH myself for the next 80 workouts.👊🏽
I’m excited to kick off phase ✌🏽on Monday.😁

One of my favorite summer activities is checking out all the beautiful hidden parks in NYC! Much like that elusive perfect park location, I’m always trying to find the best period protection for me. It should be easy to find products that contain ingredients that we feel good about, so thankfully, the new @Tampax PURE tampons have a 100% organic cotton core, are free of chlorine bleaching, dyes and fragrances, and offer up to 100% leak-free period protection that you expect from @Tampax with a 90% plant-based plastic applicator 🌱🙌 #PUREandEasy

I’ll be honest, being bullied about my weight never really motivated me to work out. Instead, I had to dig deep into my personal desires to force myself to do so. For me, I have reached the point in that my health needs to be a priority. Only I could make this distinguishment and work on it. •
With #myleggingsparadise is how I plan to work on my health goals. •
You need to be self motivated to be successful in your endeavors. You need to find something that gets you excited to continue on your path. Hold onto it. Use it to becoming a healthier and happier version of yourself. •
Workout fashion motivates me to work out; it encourages me to feel confident; it makes me feel sexy and embrace my curves and body form. •
Thankyou @myleggingsparadise for inspiring me with your workout gear and challenging me to put my best foot forward

Views on views. 👀 Is there anything better than a blanket, a bottle of rosé, and some tacos with this as your backdrop?
What’s the animal that tells us there’s 6 weeks left of summer? A disgruntled pelican?

Ask yourself this...
Are you living or just existing?!
Prior to starting my journey, I was just existing. I was a prisoner in my body and I felt paralyzed. When I started my journey, I simply wanted to redirect where my life was heading and quiet honestly, get my life back.
I genuinely believe I have accomplished that and I can say now I’m living.💕

Unpopular opinion: having a positive body relationship DOES NOT mean you can take a backseat on exercise.😱 Sitting all day hunched over a screen & not moving is NOT an okay way to treat my body! I only got one of these things & I love all my curves but I also know it's important to get up, move and eat clean. Whenever I share something about working out here, I always get a comment or DM from someone yelling at me for being a "fake" or "bad" body-positive blogger. Like encouraging my readers to work out goes against also encouraging them to love their bodies which doesn't make any sense at all! A big part of body love is respecting it. ❤️⠀
I'm not always good at it, but I try really hard to work out every day, usually it's taking a walk around our neighborhood, sometimes a longer hike around the Headlands or the Golden Gate Bridge. I'm not working out to lose weight, I work out to make sure my body can carry me until a ripe old age. Just wanted to clear that up. 😘 ⠀

Let yourself be proud of your progress. 💃🏼
Take time to reflect, appreciate, love & nurture yourself right now. ♥️
You are relentless & capable of anything! 💯
Today I’m celebrating fitting back into one of my favorite dresses (one that has been too tight for over a year). 🥰
What’s something you’re proud of yourself for?! ⁉️
Not a bad view for an evening walk. 😍 Robin & I have been making an effort to take long daily walks (our fave form of exercise!) We pick a new place in the city, so we're always combining exploring and healthy habits. Just a reminder that working out doesn't just mean a fitness class or being a gym rat! There are no "rules" for self-care, do what you like doing and what makes you feel good. I hate running, so I don't do that, but I find other ways, like evening walks and hikes, that I do enjoy! You do you, girl! 🙌
Last night's sunset was stunning over here - it was warm, no fog and this pretty lady (aka the #goldengatebridge) was looking stunning. Much better than looking at the inside of a gym wall, right? #onlyinsf#whimsysoul PS - shop my entire outfit on whimsysoul.com/instashop!
