This is how I’m doing Christmas this year. I’ve already put the kids on notice. I told them to let me know one thing they really wanted for Christmas and that will fall under the something they want category.
I used to spend over $1,000 on Christmas and as I type this right now, that was just silly. Y’all saw my son at the dining room table the other day playing with candy like they were toy cars!!! All those cars I bought him. He better stop playing with me.
No more wasting money on gifts they will play with for 2 days then never touch again. That’s over!!!

Here are my goals for October.
This month, I’m going to continue to build my savings account and sinking funds. I will do that by sticking to my budget, shopping with a shopping list, and packing lunch for work.
This will also be the month where I teach my children how to build and manage a business. I will help them create the business structure. They will figure out the name and their role in the company. They will create the design of the business cards and place the order using a loan from me. They will also be using a loan from me to purchase the materials they need.
Because I’m fronting all the money and doing most of the work, they will be paying me back for the materials, cost to get the business license, and the business cards. I won’t be charging interest because they are giving me 15% stake in the company. 💬Comment below your goals for October. We are in the last quarter of the year. Make it count!!!
