Emphasis on studio wall! 💫 Recent snap in his space by József Csató @josefcsato! Loving these new ones stacked up in this space, with a history of making on those walls 💫
I’ve been thinking so much about process lately, and how it’s such an individual experience. There is hardly ever a prescribed route that artists (can) take—it’s trial and error every. single. dang. DAY. Sometimes it’s great, sometimes, lbh, it suckssss. Even with “guidelines” to follow like educational paths or professional opportunities, doesn’t it sometimes feel like we’re all just winging it? Well, I feel that way 😅 But that’s what makes it worth pursuing: the ebbs and flows, the failures and successes... it’s part of the process to slow down, or to speed up; to take a break, or to say “yes” to something new; think micro about one thing but back up and be macro about everything... Perspective is a doozy. But before I get too sentimental let me just say that process, and being a part of it via this platform is what keeps me moving, and wanting to try new things, but sometimes needing a quick break, so ON THAT NOTE! Over the holidays I might be a little bit quieter due to travel and family time and also getting into the nitty gritty of some big projects for 2020! Tally forth, my friends 💪💪💪
Day 74/100: Let’s talk about what it feels like to have a creative block. For me, it’s paralysis. I become completely bound by my own high expectations. I’m afraid to experiment and risk posting anything that won’t be validated in the way I want.
I haven’t created much art in the last few months. Yes, life gets busy. But for me, creating art was never about the Likes. It was my own form of self reflection, honest expression and personal healing.
I’m realizing some things are too important to not prioritize. It’s also freeing to create imperfect work: typos, bad cropping, watercolor spills. It’s all part of the process.
So I have about 26 more days left of my project. I’m determined to finish it before the end of the year. Even if it’s imperfect. Incomplete and messy. As long as it’s honest, it’s good enough for me.
Thanks guys, for sticking along with me to the end of this journey #100daysofnoexpectation ✨
Sylvie McClay's beautiful artwork titled, "Spotted Pardalote Juveniles," offers the owner something truly unique for any space, whether at home or in the workplace. Sylvie's artwork brings something beautiful for you to enjoy on a daily basis, and all purchases have the added benefit of contributing to her work as a wildlife rehabilitator and "Tasmanian Wild Baby Rescue." Your purchase moves beyond your walls and out into the real world and into a real community
The "Spotted Pardalote" is a tiny bird that is most often seen high in a eucalypt canopy and, in fact, is more often detected by its characteristic call. Situated throughout most States of Australia, the wings, tail, and head of the male are black and covered with small, distinct white spots. Males have a pale eyebrow, a yellow throat, and a red rump. Females are similar but have less-distinct markings. Interestingly, both parents share nest-building, incubation of the eggs and feeding of the young when they hatch.
Better yet, this fabulous artwork looks stunning in any frame of your choice. You can choose an unframed fine-art print, or there is a professionally framed option to choose from (black, white or natural). You can find Sylvie's gorgeous creations by following the link in bio ~ 🙂 RIM

When Doubt Creeps In:
It's not IF doubt creeps in, it's WHEN right? For me, it happens on a daily basis. Sometimes it's right after an idea I have or it comes up during painting, especially when I hit the "Valley of Disappointment" in a painting.
This happens in EVERY painting, it's amazing to me. There will be a stage in the piece where I do not like it and want to throw it out but I guess I'm stubborn and I keep with it, working on the parts I don't like. Most of the time I end up happy with it and I've learned a lot by "fixing" it's problems.
I used to listen to doubt a lot more, pay attention, agree with it and give up what I was doing. That's why I was inconsistent, I would start, stop, start again, etc
Now I've decided *&%$! that. Listening to doubt has never helped me grow, expand or do anything interesting. In fact, I can't think of when it's been helpful creatively.
So while I know that it won't stop creeping in, I hope that as I learn to let it come and go without getting caught up in it, it will cease to keep me from realizing my potential.
This one is a piece that I just kept playing with. I've come to where I see it as a challenge to turn it into something I like - this is where the learning is. We have to put one foot in front of the other and when doubt creeps in, kick it aside and keep going.
If you're still reading, these are the things I share in my blog, link in profile.

INSTAGRAMABLE IS BACK + THERE ARE 2 COMPLIMENTARY COACHING CALLS WITH ME LEFT 📞
If ya missed out on my launch party Monday night, then I wanted to let you in on a lil’ secret 😏
🎉 I’ve decided to RE-OPEN Instagramable and teach it LIVE again this coming February 🎉
When I taught it earlier this year it was a 4 week group coaching program with just a couple bonuses.
This time, it’s an EIGHT week program packed with DOUBLE the bonuses and an all new content strategy.
During the program we’re going to talk about how you can create, batch, and automate your IG content like a PRO and actually start monetizing what you’re putting on the gram’!
With that being said, there are ONLY TWO spots left in Instagramable that also come with a complimentary 20 minute coaching call with me!
THREE of them have already been snagged in the last 72 hours 😱
You’ll be able to request this call at anytime during our 8 weeks together so we can talk 1:1 about where you’re at and any questions you may have!
This is the most crazzzzzyyyyy affordable way to PERSONALLY work with me and I promise you (like truly pinky promise hahaha) that this WILL be the last time I teach this program live before I turn it into a course next year! ❤️
You can get more details about the program at www.kahleanicole.com/instahragramable or head to the link in my bio! 👆🏼
Have a question about Instagramable and if it would be a good fit for you?! Drop it in the comments below 😘

If you make it look cute... you can literally get away with decorating a paper sack for gift wrap.
I do it ALL the time!
Because...you know what I hate?
So this easy paper bag solution for home baked treats is perfect!
I used my Cricut to cut out SWEET, I folded the top and punch a hole and used a cute ribbon.
Cute ribbon also helps you get away with more.
