These chocolate donuts are one of my favorite recipes and my father in laws favorite as well! So you know they’re a winner 😉 had to add a peppermint twist because its the perfect holiday flavor 🤗 Off to Portland today for a women’s Christian conference with my stepmom. #breakfast details 👉🏻 Preheat oven to 325F.
In a bowl, whisk 2 eggs then add in
1 cup almond flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
Mix it all together, grease a donut pan (I like to use a silicone one so the donuts pop out well)
Add batter about 3/4 of the way up.
Bake for 12 minutes.
Let cool, remove.
For the chocolate topping, melt 1/4 cup of chocolate chips with 1 tsp coconut oil. Dip the top in and add crushed candy canes on top. Put in the fridge to let the chocolate topping harden if you want. #choosingbalance#eeeeeats#paleofood

Easiest Veggie Tacos 🌮 Plant based dinner over here hit the spot! Roasted cauliflower + sweet potatoes coated with taco seasoning + some fajita veggies added in there. Topped with salsa + sriracha and it was a great, simple plant based meal. My favorite dinners are ones like this that take minimal effort and still hit the spot! Spent all day in the kitchen baking up a storm for some fun holiday recipes ahead 🤗 I kept sending Eli pictures all day while he was at school, tempting him 😂

#dinner details 👉🏻 Preheat oven to 400F
What you need:
1 Head cauliflower
3 small sweet potatoes
1 bell pepper
Oil- I like avocado oil or olive oil
Cut up the cauliflower into small florets then add to a bowl.
Chop sweet potatoes into cubes (wash well or peel) and add into the bowl as well
Coat with 3 tbsp oil + 1 tbsp taco seasoning of choice
Grease a baking sheet and add the veggies to it.
Bake for 20 mins.
While it cooks, cut up your pepper, onion, and zucchini. Coat with 1 tbsp oil + 1/2 tbsp seasoning. Add to the pan and bake an additional 15 mins.

Maple Pecan Salmon 🍁 Ready in 15 minutes with the easiest topping. The picture doesn’t do this justice- maybe my favorite salmon creation to date 😍 The perfect amount of sweet + salty and a nice crunch on top gave it the best texture. this is the meal you make when you want people to think you know how to cook even if you don’t 😜 Double the recipe and feed your whole family! -
#recipe details 👉🏻 Maple Pecan Mixture:
1/2 cup pecans
3 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp Chipotle spice
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Sprinkle of salt
Mix all the ingredients together in a food processor.
Pulse until the pecans are finely chopped
Preheat oven to 425F
About 1-1.25 pounds of salmon (one large fillet, about 3 slices)
Add salmon to a greased baking pan
Coat the salmon with your mixture, use a knife to evenly spread it out.

What an occasion! You can absolutely smother this doll in that creamy, tangy caesar-ish dressing and feel great about it! The kale will still be a crunch-boss and the chunks of avocado and pepitas tossed in will thank you for the extra zazz. We didn’t mention the side of sweet potato fries yet because we saved the best for last. 🤗
Blend up for the dressing:⠀
1 avocado, divided⠀
1/2 cup water⠀
1/4 cup mayonnaise⠀
2 small cloves garlic⠀
2 tablespoons lemon juice⠀
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard⠀
1/2 teaspoon salt⠀
Toss dressing with chopped kale, avocado, and pepitas. Serve with sweet potato fries on the side!⠀

Cue the “Is all you eat eggs and avocado?” 😉 The answer is obviously no, but I’m cooking out of convenience right now because I still haven’t completely unpacked my kitchen, so avocado toast and eggs it is!
Got some @bubandgrandmasbread and topped it with avo and some pasture raised eggs along with crushed red pepper, rosemary infused olive oil, and smoked paprika.
Going to hit up the grocery store today, so you’ll be seeing more than avo toast very shortly. I’m super stoked because there is finally a @sprouts market near me!!! And a @traderjoes down the street 🙌🏻

Baked garlicky herb salmon: brush with olive oil, add salt, pepper, basil, oregano & 1/2 tsp minced garlic.
roasted veggies: spray with oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
nutritional yeast sauce: 1 cup nutritional yeast, 3/4 cups water (more as needed), salt and pepper to taste, garlic powder and paprika. SUPER EASY. i love this easy sauce on salmon + protein options and roasted veggies 🥦🥕🤤 .

Whether we’re camped out in front of the T.V binge-watching Netflix or spending a weekend at home in our PJ’s, these are times when our snacking goblins come out to play and when we tend to overindulge the most. The important thing is to always be prepared. Instead of reaching for that bag of crisps, we have a cheat for you—It’s trickery of the best kind! Our Bang Bang Cauliflower recipe is the ideal solution for those emergency snack attacks.
3x tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
3x tbsp MAHI Scorpion & Passion sauce
Juice of 1 lime
3x cloves garlic, minced
1x medium cauliflower, cut into florets
Salt and pepper to season
1x tsp chopped coriander, for garnish
1. Preheat oven to 425 F.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, MAHI Scorpion & Passion sauce, lime juice, and garlic.
3. Break up the cauliflower into smaller bite size pieces.
4. In a pot, fill with water and bring to a boil. Add Cauliflower and parboil.
5. In a heavy bottomed pan, char the cauliflower so that the sides crisp slightly.
6. On a large baking sheet, toss cauliflower in sauce until fully coated.
7. Season generously with salt and pepper.
8. Spread into an even layer and roast until slightly charred and tender, 30 to 35 minutes.
9. Garnish with parsley and serve with your favourite MAHI Hot Sauce for dipping.
