Hey Revealers! In order to keep Jesus in our heart every second of our life, we must start keeping Him in our every second of the day. .
The best way to do this is through prayer, and one beautiful prayer is to set aside some time in the morning to plan the day with God. .
Look to the potential temptations that you may face during the day. Discern a plan that would help one accept God's Grace and overcome these potential temptations.
Look to the potential opportunities for virtue and sacrifices. Is there an event during the day that give you the opportunity to be more patient or kind? .
Discern with God in the morning how the day may go and ask Him for the strength and guidance to get through the day. .
Psalm 139:14 says the human body is "fearfully and wonderfully made." Just under our skin are complex biological systems that work together with our spirit that make up the whole person, with one of the premiere systems being the mind. Yet, sexual addiction corrupts the spirit using our minds as its pathway. So how can we practically use our minds to take us farther from degradation and closer to freedom from pornography? -
Watch as Steve Gallagher expertly blends the physical with the spiritual as he describes the genesis of addiction.
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. “A Christian home should be a place of peace, and there can be no peace where there is no self-denial.”

"It’s easy to look at the circumstances that you or your children are facing and feel defeated and overwhelmed. Whether it’s a devastating illness, an inherited sin or habit, a child’s insecurities, a traumatic event, or a rebellious child, we will all be faced with circumstances that are far beyond what we can handle in ourselves.⠀
However, the blessing of facing these circumstances is that they provide an opportunity for us to let go of our need for control and desire to earn God’s acceptance, and instead trust that God is greater than the most hopeless circumstance and rebellious heart. Life’s trials can become turning points that take us from being moms who strive for control and perfection, to moms who confidently and freely trust in God’s control, promises, forgiveness, goodness, faithfulness, and redemption. ⠀
What a powerful witness it is to our children when they see peace and joy flowing from their mom amidst challenging circumstances and their own rebellious hearts. And what greater gift can we give our children than to give them a glimpse of a trustworthy Savior who is greater than our sin and greater than our trials? ⠀
Sister, if you find yourself facing circumstances that are more than you can handle, or you feel inadequate to be the mom you desire to be, remember that the Lord’s 'delight is not in the strength of the horse, nor his pleasure in the legs of a man, but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love' (Psalm 147:10–11). ⠀
As we learn to trust Christ, rather than our own wisdom and strength, and as we learn to fear God, rather than our own failures or trials, he will guide, equip, and strengthen us to be the mother he desires us to be."⠀

Y'all. I'm struggling for real the last couple of days.
I've got sinus headaches most of the time. Half my head & nose is stopped up. My knees, shins, and ankle are all hurting, and struggling to support my weight during long, standing shifts.
I want to curl into a ball, sit in a corner, and binge Stargate Atlantis until my eyes fall out.
What a COINCIDENCE that the last couple of days just so happen to be the same days God has been speaking to me, answering prayer, and showing up & showing out in my Spirit.
The enemy is a real nuisance. He doesn't want what's best for you. He's content to see you sick, discouraged, and hurting.
Blessedly, God does want the best for you. He's sitting next to you in your rough week, popping the popcorn and hitting next on the Hulu countdown so you don't have to move to turn on the next episode.
He's putting angels 'round your head to minister to your aches and pains, because He's a healing God.
He's with You.
He's so, so good.
Love is all He has for you, always. •
Let me be clear, the Anointed One has set us free—not partially, but completely and wonderfully free! We must always cherish this truth and stubbornly refuse to go back into the bondage of our past.
