@DisneyParks you guys should hook this kid and his family up. #faithinhumantiyrestored #awww
Oh Thomas 💓 He is a yard hero 🙌 he said he'd save us getting wet and blown over so went out in sideways rain in Storm Dennis to do the yard, pigs, and horses. We stayed in, as Isaac shows. His only request was we capture his heroism on camera and share it with the Facebook and Instagram community 🎖 He's a hero 💓😂 #StormDennis#ChildHero

🚀WOW you guys have some AWESOME kids. It's been VERY difficult to choose our very first Hero but after much deliberation, we are crowning Archie Heyes as our Hero!! This is what his lovely mummy Beverley has to say about Archie " Archie is 9 years old and has special needs. He has tackled life head on all with a massive smile. He endured an 8 hour spinal operation in 2017 amazing all the doctors with how fast he recovered. But unfortunately his epilepsy has returned in November 2019 much worse than before but that doesn’t stop him. He is determined, independent, loving and caring. He is our hero with a cheeky charm with a wicked sense of humour. We recently moved and he started at a new school in September 2019 where he has soared. Smashing his targets, talking more, now able to count to 5, made friends, he is so much happier. All the teachers say it’s as if he’s been there for years he brightens up everyones day. We are just so proud of our super star hero, he’s already our hero anyway." Archie has clearly overcome astounding challenges all with a smile on his face - a true superhero!🚀 If you know a kid who's done something awesome, maybe raised money for charity, climbed a mountain, overcome a difficult challenge, rescued a kitten from a tree or anything you think makes them a 'hero', then we want to hear about it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Comment below or on any of our "hero" posts throughout the month or drop us a line explaining why your kid should be our Hero of the Month at [email protected] ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Let's celebrate AMAZING kids 😁⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Please tag anyone you know has a hero to nominate.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Helping my son with his school presentation took hours today.
I get to test my basic drawing skills 'what skills?) with the very few colored markers i have on hand 😂
I may be doing the big technical job, but my young hero is doing the hardest when he does his presentations : fight to overcome his disabilities in order to learn and move forward.
His favorite dessert is chocolate chip cookies! We made them together so his teacher, special ed and classmates taste <3
Welcome to a tiny part of what my everyday life is ❤️❤️❤️ pure love from my kids

So if you saw my stories today, you’ll have seen that I did something pretty extraordinary (for me) today. I climbed a fucking mountain! One of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, one part of what I’m to take on in challenge form in a few weeks time. I climbed today as part of a well-being walk with work and after a panic attack, anxiety level 160 and a phone call to a colleague, I did it. I’m sitting on a hot bath of all the muscle relaxing goodness right now contemplating what I’ve actually done. I’m not an outdoorsy person. Today didn’t come easy to me...at all.... there were points where I thought “This has had me...what am I doing?!” but I powered through. There were times where I went off on my own and all I could think about was Alfie. At one point my heart was beating so fast I could hear it, my mouth was so dry I felt sick, I was so hungry I thought I’d drop and inside I got a pang of sadness because it hit me: He feels all of this and more, just like this and probably worse...every single day. My heart broke a few times walking up that mountain I won’t lie, I just kept thinking that although it was just one today, I need to do them all. I need to do this challenge for him, to show him how much I love him, how much I care, how much I’m willing to try everything to step into his world. I came away from today with a sense of achievement and a sense of pride. Not pride for me, but pride for Alfie and all the other disabled children, who despite everything they’re thrown keep persevering, they keep laughing, loving, learning and existing in a world that just really isn’t made for or ready for them. What I did today and when I do climb all three peaks, it won’t be brave or heroic. The true bravery, the heroism; it’s in my son. Everyday; waking up knowing that the world is big and scary and facing the day with the same youthful innocence as the day before. I never thought I could love my kid more but he really is my hero.

a child climbed a well 49 feet deep without ropes !! Try to save the little fox. The brave little boy made his life in danger to save the animal,
@theYoungCenter@NCJFCJ FYI, Jennifer Nagda just gave the most epic, Mike-dropping presentation on the wrongful policies of immigrant child detention in a national academic conference I have ever seen. #childhero #bestinterestsareforallkidspic.twitter.com/55yS7qDABr
#Execution of a 17yr old #LepaRadić, #Yugoslav #partisan, February 1943. The SS soldiers executed her after three days of torture.
Just before they put the noose around her neck she shouted "Fight for your freedom!"
The SS' report on her execution read: "The bandit was hung in Bosanska Krupa. She showed incredible stubbornness.
The German soldier who was her executioner did not live to see the end of the war either. He was killed in Zagreb. The photograph of the execution was found in his bag. #yugoslavpartisans#wwii#yugoslavia#womenheroes#childhero

Once I had to give myself the Heimlich maneuver when I was home alone choking on a piece of taffy. To this day, I'm amazed that I was able to do it. Here is the story of a hero who saved a toddler from choking on a LifeSaver.

Forever remembering The hero Iqbal Masih and millions of child slaves, soldiers, sex workers who died and lived the sufferings and fought for a better day.
P.S- I first came across Iqbal on a long article on him in World’s Children Prize magazine in 2006 edition. He was a true inspiration for what he suffered and struggled is beyond our imagination.
Be inspired. To raise your voice and heart -Tsering ——————————————
