Early mornings || There’s something to be said for those early mornings, getting to a spot for sunrise. The darkness can be a bit unsettling, but once the sun starts to illuminate the sky, a sense of excitement kicks in. Most of my favorite photos I have taken were around sunrise, and involved a super early wake up call, some travel, and tired eyes. I’d be lying to you if I said it wasn’t worth it though.
Luck || A lot of landscape photography involves a bit of luck. Mother Nature has all the control over what kind of scene you might end up shooting. The important thing is that you put yourself in the situation to capture something beautiful, just in case you get lucky. This image of an old lighthouse along the California coast was taken after waiting for a sunset that didn’t quite pan out as I had hoped. Instead of taking it as a loss, I decided to mess around with some long exposures while the sun was making its way below the horizon. Here’s the final result, I hope you dig it!
One of my favourite wedding venues was the Hermitage, with its iconic Ossian’s Hall. This unique, whimsical folly is nestled in the heart of a beautifully designed woodland, full of colours and textures throughout the year.
Quarantine Backyard Camera testing Uhhhh. I think I like the new RF 70-200 @canonusa

Even Holly, my shepherd who typically avoids people is starting to feel the itch of human connection.
This weekend me and @sergiothorm got out of town about 16:00 on saturday and we were hiking and photographing until sunday noon.
Capturing certain areas in sunsets and others in the blue hour. (Mainly due to pic 9)
Feels weird being the only one at a very popular site but were taking the advantage and photographing them until we meet all of you guys travelling to Iceland!
Patience || This photo is a long exposure photo I took when visiting Yosemite back in November. Per usual, I woke up at 2am and drove from the Bay Area to Yosemite for sunrise. Getting to the valley before everyone wakes has its perks, like having the entire day ahead of you to hike around, relax, and capture all of Yosemite’s beauty. On the subject of patience, these photos require a bit of patience and some learning through trial and error. I’ve forgotten how much I love long exposure shots involving water. I think I’ll get back to shooting more of them moving forward!
