“Del Rey told Nylon Magazine: “When people ask me about it, I just have to be honest — I really don’t know,” she said about a possible new album. “I don’t want to say, ‘Yeah, definitely — the next one’s better than this one,’ because I don’t really hear a next one. My muse is very fickle. She only comes to me sometimes, which is annoying. It’s harder to be an observer when people are watching you. You have to go further inside because the outside world becomes a harder place to draw from.”

Interviewer: What did you learn about music and the industry from releasing that album?
Del Rey said: “I learned that there's no reason why people decide they like music when they do. Even if you're the best singer in the world, there's a good chance no one will ever hear you. You make a decision to keep singing or to stop. I’ve been singing in Brooklyn since I was 17 and no one in the industry cared at all. I haven't changed a thing since then and yet things seem to be turning around for me. Perhaps the angels decided to shine on me for a little while.”

“Del Rey stated that: “Not a day goes by that I don’t listen to at least one Sublime song. They epitomized the SoCal vibe and made a genre and sound totally their own.”. Bud Gaugh, a member of the band told a magazine: "We are so excited to be collaborating with Lana on this. The smoky, sexy, and iconic sound of her voice breathes new life into one of our favorite singles." It certainly does. According to Rolling Stone, the cover will appear in an upcoming documentary which will "[outline] the history of the iconic California band."
