XI Path The Attainment of a Higher Consciousness by. G.R. Khalil
The Golden Dawn Excerpt - 1984 - Taking up the initiative is the preparation for immortality. Initiation means to begin, to start something new. The beginning of new life dedicated to an entirely different set of principles. An individuals mind is only potential immortal. Immortality is acquired when the purely human part of the individual becomes allied to that spiritual essence which was never created, was never born and shall never die. With the enormous development of technology old but made new, what will MAN DO WITH HIS LEISURE TIME? I doubt that many will turn their energy and time to the pursuit of the "Magnum Opus" The Great Work in any of its form. Most of them will continue to hunt, fish, travel, drink beer, and grow fat, watch television more and more, concentrate on spectator sports and continue their lives on a thoroughly prosaic and mundane level.

In honor of. Lack history month (14 of 29), I would like to honor Robert Reed Church Sr. Robert Reed Church Sr. (June 18, 1839 – August 29, 1912) was a BLACK entrepreneur, businessman and landowner in Memphis, Tennessee and was the first BLACK "millionaire" in the South. Church built a reputation for great wealth and influence in the business community. In 1865 Robert and his wife Louisa Church settled in Memphis where the both became entrepreneurs. Luisa opened a string of beauty parlors while Robert acquired a saloon and added to his holdings over the years, eventually owning a restaurant and a downtown hotel. During the Memphis Race Riot of 1866, a white mob attacked Church’s saloon, shot him and left him for dead. Church recovered and vowed to remain in Memphis despite the anti-black violence. He stayed during the Yellow Fever Epidemic of 1878 and afterwards bought considerable real estates when property values were depressed.
After his divorce to Louisa, Church married Anna Wright in 1885 and they had Robert, Jr. who eventually followed his father into business and politics. Despite his political failure, Church never gave up that effort and in 1899 used his own money to purchase a tract of land on Beale Street where he built an auditorium, landscaped the surrounding grounds, and called the venture Church’s Park and Auditorium, the first major urban recreational center in the nation owned by an African American. Valued at $100,000 when built, Church’s auditorium seated more than 2,000 people and became a renowned cultural, recreational, and civic center for black Memphians. W.C. Handy worked as orchestra leader at the park and auditorium. In 1906, Church founded the Solvent Savings Bank and Trust Company; the first BLACK-owned bank in the city, which extended credit to BLACKS so they could buy homes and develop businesses. During the 1907 Panic, Church avoided a run on his bank by placing bags of money in its windows with signs guaranteed that he had adequate reserves to pay off depositors. As a philanthropist, Church used his wealth to develop a park, playground, auditorium and other facilities for the black community.
A must have 🔥 Matrix of Power: How the World Has Been Controlled By Powerful People Without Your Knowledge by Jordan Maxwell
They really don't like when anyone opposed or disagree with them. I think they are like a terrorist group. What are they so afraid of because every group or organization on earth gets criticize one way or another? Can't we all live and know that some people will not always agree with us or stand with us. People will always talk about us and even judge us but that's just life and we will never be able to stop that. So what you people need to do is to go on living your lives. If you are not afraid let us hear your view.

Reposted from @iamdancebook Reposted from @theflywire Wow‼️💪🏾 Posted • @greater_is_he_thats_in_me Born to a former slave father and a free mother in Kentucky on June 25, 1889 John Morton-Finney joined the U.S. Army and became a member of the 24th Infantry Regiment, otherwise known as the Buffalo Soldiers when he was 22 he served in the Regiment from 1911-1914 and went to the Philippines, where he rose to the rank of sergeant and applied for an officer’s commission. After serving in the Philippines, Morton-Finney returned to the States in 1914 and completed a degree at Lincoln College in Missouri two years later. He started teaching in a one-room schoolhouse in Missouri but when the US entered World War I, he slipped on his military uniform once more and fought for the American Expeditionary Force in France. He returned to the States after the war and earned degrees in math, French, and history. After getting married to Lincoln College teacher Pauline Ray, they relocated to Indianapolis, where Morton-Finney went back to teaching. He taught at several Indianapolis public schools and eventually ended up at the newly opened Crispus Attucks High School in Indianapolis.
He was the first teacher hired when the school opened in 1927 and later became the head of the school’s foreign language department.
This was after he had completed an IU master’s degree in education and French in 1925.
In 1935, while teaching at Crispus Attucks, Morton-Finney earned the first of four law degrees. At 75, he earned the last of his several degrees from Butler University. He never got tired of learning as he believed education had no end. Even at the age of 100, he was still seen attending law school seminars as if he was a first-year student. The last surviving member of the Buffalo Soldiers passed away on January 28, 1998, at the age of 108.
