A little flex for new training, new challenges, & new goals 💪🏼 •
After finishing up my soccer career and nursing school on top of never going a season without playing atleast one sport since I was probably 5 years old , I found myself lost and bored lol like WTH am I supposed to do with all this free time. •
I thought I was going crazy when I had too much on my plate, little did I realize the only thing worse than that is not having enough to do. •
This made me think about life in a new way.. what did I really want to do with this time and more importantly this life. •
And if you know me, you know I’m one of that most indecisive people out there.. can’t even decide what I want to eat for lunch let alone make big time decisions. •
The one thing I did know was that I love to train, being active, and seeing how far I can push myself...but I just couldn’t get myself to commit to a single goal. Whether I was afraid of failure, of having to get out of my comfort zone, or just purely unsure about putting all my eggs into one basket. •
So for the past few months I’ve been training my ass off pushing myself every single day for almost no reason other than the love of it all.
But there came a point where the motivation lightened and the intensity died out and I asked myself why the heck am I beating myself up for nothing? As everyone kept asking me “what’re you training for? What’re your goals?” My answer was always “nothing I just like to workout”. •
Well after great consideration (and much persuasion😂), I have finally decided to change up the training in order to work towards my new goal of competing in an all natural competition. I could not be more excited to workout with a purpose and see what this body is capable of achieving 💪🏼 •

Everything happens for a reason. You might not understand why something happens, but that understanding will develop over time. I view failures and hardships as lessons that create a better version of myself. This holds true to people you meet in your life as well. Some people come and go, but it's for a reason. There has been multiple times where I believed there was no way that this horrible experience could better myself, but after the rocky parts, I came out as a much better person.
Just like everything happens for a reason; everything also doesn't happen for a reason. Maybe you didn't get the job you wanted or relationships never developed; I take these as better things to come down the line.
Not everyone believes in this, but this is just how I view things!
