In life, there is no difficulty, which we cannot overcome when we are really determined Yet many of us fail in big and small ways because our determination was never strong enough Determination is very important because it enables us to persist in the face of difficulties. It makes us to march fearlessly ahead with faith until we achieve our goal However, in order for us to succeed in life, we must set definite goals for ourselves, work hard to put in the necessary effort
we should never for a moment distort our determination by harbouring doubts about our ability to reach our goal. Whenever we do this, we weaken the force which will propel us to reach our goal. Determination is the leader of all great achievements. It is the fore-runner which clears the way for us to reach our goal

An upgraded life is the result of an upgraded mind.
To be honest, I feel, it’s as simple as that. If we have the mindset to achieve and succeed, what’s stopping us? The hard work is done - shifting your mindset from what it is now, to what it will be soon. Change the way you think, believe in this change, and now action that change.
No successful person ever sat there saying, they became successful and wealthy from sitting there wishing. It all started with the desire, need and hunger in the mind that forced them to achieve what they now have.
It’s like saying, I wish I had their body. Whilst stuffing your face with that last piece of chocolate. (Yes we have all been there once or twice or maybe thrice - whose counting anyways 🤣) hunny wishing ain’t going to get you there, put down that last piece, YES, even though you already ate the entire block, you can put that last piece down, and save yourself those extra calories. You are now One step, or maybe 000’s of steps closer to that body you want. 😂 😆
Ultimately I feel, if we change the way we look at things, the things that we look at will change.
On Valentine’s Day evening Tom and I watched The Notebook. There’s a scene where an old lady is playing the piano and I turned to him and said, “I really wish I could play the piano.”. His response? “Why don’t you?” I then proceeded to tell him that I can’t play any instrument or even read music. He looked at me dead seriously and said “But isn’t it crazy to think you could STILL become world class at it if you wanted to?”. Now, he wasn’t saying it because he thinks I have a talent for it. He said it because the truth is we all CAN pretty much learn and get good at it.... if we CHOOSE to spend our time on it. We use the word “can’t” as if it’s a fact written in stone. It also insinuates we are incapable of doing it, which let’s face it.. is disempowering! But the truth is I have CHOSEN to not take the time to get good at the piano. And THAT framing I can get behind! THAT way of thinking IS empowering because now it’s my choice!
So now I reframe when I talk and when asked if I play an instrument, my exact response is.... “I have not chosen to take the time to learn.” Words... matter!

It looks different for each person but cultivating a healthy relationship with food is something most of us struggle with whether we realize it or not. It might stem from having to "clear" our plates as children or from food scarcity, eating for comfort or not eating enough. The list goes on. Was not feeling this 5AM workout this morning, but I threw on some comfy clothes, popped in my contacts, chugged my preworkout and GOT IT DONE. Deep down, you HAVE TO WANT IT. Let's chat about self-sabotage. 😬 I know, not the most exciting or fun topic for a Tuesday morning. Yet, it's a topic we can't ignore. Self-sabotage is a very common barrier to success that I know many struggle with, consciously & subconsciously. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There are many reasons that you might sabotage yourself. It’s a behavior, rooted in a fear of the unknown. If you’ve followed the status quo for most of your life, the idea of greatness can be extremely frightening. As we know, our subconscious mind is always working to protect us from danger. Even if the "danger" isn't real. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨ Ask yourself: ✨⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Am I satisfied with my life? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Am I living up to my potential? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Am I taking the actions I need to succeed? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Am I willing to continue to sabotage my own success?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If the answer is a NO, then consider this process to defeat your self-sabotage.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Observe your behavior. First off, it’s essential that you begin to observe yourself. You can effectively do this by creating a self-sabotage journal. Make a journal entry every time you realize that you’ve sabotaged yourself. Describe the setting, circumstances, and end result. Avoid over-analyzing.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Envision success. Keep in mind that success is neither black nor white. Cultivate the habit of envisioning what success means to you and remember how it feels to achieve it. If you do this consistently, you may find that what you envision changes over time.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Let go of the notion of perfection. As you visualize success, are you still thinking that success equals perfection? If so, it’s time to realize that nobody is perfect. Your subconscious won’t allow you to achieve success if you associate success with the impossible task of being perfect.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Lastly, give yourself permission to anticipate success with excitement. Embrace the good life you deserve by picturing yourself as successful, and then refuse to talk yourself out of going for it. The journey to your ideal life starts now! Happy Tuesday, Lovely Friends! 💗
