We’ve talked a lot about how stressful this time of year can be for us all, and while it’s so important to never stress yourself out too much just to make others happy, it’s also good to be conscious and aware of how those around you feel.
We can all become snappy and irritable when we are stressed and pushing through to meet end of year deadlines, so don’t be so hard on those around you, be they friends, family or colleagues if you find them in a less than perky mood.
You never know, until you stop to think about it, who around you might need a little random act of kindness.
So be on the look out this week, and if you see someone stressed out, nervous, anxious or just not themselves, think about something unexpected you could do to make them smile.
Maybe you could buy them a coffee or a bit of chocolate?
It does’nt have to be a huge gesture, it just has to be a kind one ✨

There’s a lot that goes into traveling with a disability and I often find myself feeling guilty for asking for things. I’m extremely lucky to have someone who makes the effort so that I don’t have to feel this way. Doing the little “unnecessary” things, like throwing a braid in my hair, gives me that extra bit of confidence and it makes all the difference..

So simple. True kindness is not rooted in pity (or it can become condescending)...it is rooted in open hearted generosity. It comes from the desire to help with love and humility, to be of service. When we do, or give, for its own sake, with without attachment to accolades, reward or the outcome, then that act of kindness becomes an ultimate #spiritualpractice. .
Trust. Gods plan. We dont need to figure it out, we need to know what we want, and what God has put on our heart to do and be. Listen to that inner voice, share your gifts, do what you were meant to do. Make a difference.
We start to mess things up when we control too much, worry too much, think we need to do more or change what we are doing.
In reality, we just need to keep going when we see an obstacle, celebrate in good times and learn from bad and know that there is purpose behind everything.
