I never had a smooth gig in Tunisia.. This time I think it was a finish point. Here is my story from @fairgroundfest_official 🤷🏻♀️The time table was delayed for 1,15 hours and I started to play only at 5:15 absolutely sure it’s not a big deal and I can play my set till the end. But at 5:55 I had one by one persons coming to tell me I need to stop in 3 minutes. At one point I thought it was a joke, but then I quickly realized it is not.. I was angry and disappointed. This never happened to me. Then promoter came saying he spoke to the police and I can play 40 mins longer, but they already killed my vibe! 😓 I was continue playing but there were too many moves and talks on the backstage.. I felt like it is all gone and stopped playing after 2 tracks.. What a shame! Then some more mistakes, rush at the hotel and terrible dirty minivan without air-condition in +32 degree for 2 hours to the airport. Hey, I am not complaining, I am just saying! It’s just ridiculous to be so bad in organizing things.. It’s an experience again and I made my conclusions. The only thing I am really sorry is people - I am so sorry, dear people, you have such a bad promoters. I wish you all the best and promoters to grow, get into another level and rise the quality of events, get more interesting artists to get more party options and music education. DO NOT SPEND MONEY AT @dumbokitchen !!!!! Earlier this evening after a productive photo shoot with @bubicanal we stopped back in at this spot that earlier we purchased bottles of water and coffee . As we awaited my partner return I was approached by this woman who felt the need to tell me the restaurant was closing in the most hateful , disrespectful and rude manner. True racism at its finest ... I talked to her in pleasant and respectful tone pointing out that it's not what you say to people but how you say it as you can see my tone in beginning of the video . She screamed at me that she worked 12 hours and jumped in my face that I can’t leave till y’all leave .. her reaction was to tell me that her manager doesn't like black people and everyone knows that . In her words " THEM " so I am a them now ?! As she straight kicked us out and jumped in my face saying she would beat me up.. This world that we live in is in a spiritual warfare ! I am APPALLED! So @comcast came to our office building today to install service for the new tenants across the hall, apparently. They had to get into our office to run lines. When I got back into the office from being out in meetings all day, THIS is what I came back to!! Stuff all over the floor that they left there and F’d up ceiling tile! WTF?? Then, my business partner mentioned to him that out tv in our office wasn’t working and dude says, “That’s not why I’m here. You have to call to make an appointment for that.” Ok, How about I don’t let you in my office to run your lines then? And if you did something to stop our tv from working while up in the ceiling, you had better damn we’ll fix it whether that’s why you’re here or not! Wow, it amazes me that companies continue to steal from their consumers and think they can get away with it. I'm an All-Star Host with @turo and I'm supposed to get priority support, but yet I spent over an hour on the phone (I had to call them 3 times because the first representative (Marilou) disconnected me, the 2nd representative (Stevie) said the 1st representative was calling me back, but never did, and the last representative (Ryan) put me on hold several times). Their cancelation policy has changed several times and this last time, the cancelation fee says 1 day's average trip cost + 50% of any delivery fee. I noticed the amount they credited me didn't match this calculation and I spent over 34 min to conduct simple math, but yet their own representative couldn't match their calculations to what they credited me. So shady!! Imagine how many hosts aren't watching their credits carefully to know whether or not it's correct? I even caught them taking a 1% charge for no reason that their own representatives couldn't figure out why. I think an 'Office Space' algorithm is taking a percentage of random people's earnings, but it's so small no one is noticing. Multiplied by millions of bookings, that's a ton of money + the 30% they're collecting from hosts + fees from guests.
Conveniently, Turo doesn't break down the host earnings to clearly understand the math, nor do they provide historical data to go back and validate. I had to create my own spreadsheet to check the numbers. I believe justice is in order here!

I have had a pixel to a while. Recently an update came to my phone, which required a reboot. Before rebooting my phone everything was working. I chose to complete the update and reboot. As soon as the phone starts back up the issues became apparent.
The phone would not let me make calls, send texts, use data or anything. I even tried WiFi calling but it said I was in airplane mode, which I was not.
I took the phone to Verizon who replaced the Sim card to see if that was the issue, it was not. They said the device was not being recognized by their Network as compatible.
I then chatted with a Google employee who had me do some basic tests. Including rebooting the phone, removing the brand new sim card and putting it back it, checking that service was available I'm my area, and ensuring airplane mode was not in fact turned on. Nothing fixed the issue.
After all this they said, your phone is still under warranty take it to your retailer and have them give you a new phone under the warranty.
I went to Best buy, the clerk said that due to cosmetic damage to the phone the warranty would not be honored. They also could not figure out what was happening either. They said to go back to Google.
The lady I talked to previously asked for a picture of the phone. I explained that this cosmetic damage had been done months ago, before I got a case and the phone worked perfectly fine until this recent update. She still wanted a picture. I sent it and was informed that I needed to get the cosmetic damage repaired before they would honor the warranty.
I sent an email questioning why I needed to do that when the "damage" is not the issue. She would not elaborate.
Finally I called a repair company who said they would do it... For 169.99 before tax. Google has not responded to further inquiry.
I find it ridiculous that a company can create an update that disables a phone and then even with a warranty refuse to fix the issue their programming created. This is forced obselcence and is being used by a major corporation to generate extra profits.
