...what a privilege it is to be black, educated, and chasing a dream in Atlanta. 🙌🏽🙏🏽💯💯💯
I’m Atlanta born, bred and fed - so I’ve always been crystal clear on the richness of the culture and the value of available opportunity. Mr. @tylerperry, of course, your words struck a chord in the hopeful spirits of so many dreamers who are trying to find or make ways to materialize the expansion of their territory. Atlanta has, and always will be, a conduit for that - especially for people of color. And, to the pedestrian souls, with blurry vision, who find satisfaction in saying “I don’t like Atlanta” for reasons that hold no weight, I say - “If you don’t like Atlanta, you don’t like soul, success or yourself.” That’s one to live by or either that’s one to die to! (I’m so, damn, Atlanta.) Cheers!
