This week's Wednesday post is a lil theory heavy. I decided to just go for it and get this topic out of the way, because I think most radicalized people dont have experience with these distinct parts of the left. For those of you who get enjoyment from the time series talking about bolder topics (like abolishing time! 😆) I see you. I will see to it that this series does not get bogged down in ideology. If you're on this page, I assume you are an anticapitalist, whether or not you've joined a radical formation. So, this multi-part topic aims to be a tool for you as you navigate the landscape of the left. I have spent time within both Vanguard parties and anarchist networks, and want to share my experiences, pros, and cons with both. (I'm currently an anarchist)
I would absolutely love to keep comments on. At the same time, I will remove and close comments the moment toxic takedowns and bad faith reads start. Ideally, we discuss this stuff from a place of reaching mutual understanding, rather than from a desire to brand and discard. Thank you.
I am so incredibly thankful for my patrons on Patreon, especially now that I am facing possible eviction and have temporarily lost access to my healthcare (which has forced me to pause my HRT). As part of the precariat, any income I can draw from this work makes survival a little less difficult. My patreon link is in my bio. Dm me if you'd prefer paypal or venmo. Tysm!
Low effort meme tonight for y'all. Also replace the ring with literally anything communism is supposed to bring, such as the commodity, money, the means of production being used for the well-being of all, etc.
