Santiago is the capital and largest city of Chile, as well as one of the largest cities in the Americas. Situated in a valley between the Andes Mountains and the Chilean Coast Range, the city is home to more than 5.2 million people. As Santiago has grown, its position in this valley — known as the Santiago Basin — has caused it to experience high levels of trapped air pollution and smog. /// Created by @dailyoverview, source imagery: @planetlabs
🎉 Picking up goals I’ve set aside for a while 🎉
✅Today’s goal =agility, stability, and improving confidence in movement on my feet
👆Demonstrated here are lateral in/outs on an agility ladder
🤓Agility training focuses on your ability to quickly change directions and decelerate without sacrificing form or balance.
💃Agility is important for aerial artists because it helps improve fluidity and grace.
🦵The exercise above is focused primarily on rehabbing my ankle because prior to being grounded I was focused more on aerial classes than fine tuning my movements through cross training.
🤔What are some goals that you’ve set aside recently?
🤔What are some things that you want to improve with your movement and strength that you can apply to your skills in the air when we can fly again?
To know yourself as the Being underneath the thinker, the stillness underneath the mental noise, the love and joy underneath the pain, is freedom, salvation, enlightenment. In the stillness of your presence, you can feel your own formless and timeless reality as the unmanifested life that animates your physical form.

I do it rising fullhop when I realize a lot of characters just have terrible fullhop punishes. So I don't deal with falling aerial punishes in the first place when I do this to stuff jumps.
Neither #Iran nor #Hezbollah has any involvement in AA Systems in #Syria.
Syria has never needed it's AA systems during the course of ground-war in Syria over past 9 years & has only ever needed to deploy AA against Israeli Aerial Attack. It is now deploying the S-300+ for that.
No pole, hoop, silks or home exercise equipment? No worries!!! Here are a few home exercises targeted at advanced levels & above to keep your pole specific strength. All you need is a office chair (+ a theraband if you want to do the super advanced option). If you are intermediate level & below: I have provided regressions as well in the text below so all levels can work on this.
Please remember technique is paramount. Also if you have an injury of any sort that hasn’t been given clearance by your physio etc please do not try these.
Please film yourself & tag me in your insta stories/feed @simonemuscatphysio. Challenge yourself & happy exercising 🤗
Side note/disclaimer: this is a generic aerial strengthening program that is not suitable for everyone. And yes it’s sped up x 2.5-3 so don’t do them that fast!! Over the coming months I will be providing a number of aerial artists tailored strengthening programs so they can focus on their aerial and non-aerial goals through online consultation. I can also do aerial trick assessments online. Please contact myself for further information on these consultations. 💜💜💜 1. Jacknife - keep shoulders over wrists, drive knees to chest & slowly control the lower out to a plank. Don’t let your lower back drop. And the oblique twists to make it harder! Regression: hold a plank position on the chair
2. Pike - keep shoulders over wrists & legs straight. Drive hips up & over shoulders like you are prepping for a handstand. Regression: practice on your elbows against a wall. Or if too challenging all together work on a side plank.
3. Isometric Deadbug - set up with lower back flat into ground and lower ribcage engaged. Push your hands into your knees & knees back towards your hands keeping a neutral spine. This is way harder than it looks! For a challenge add the arm/leg variations if you can keeping your back flat! Make sure you do both same leg/arm moving & then your obliques sides.

Amazing layered rock patterns are visible on the Adrar Plateau, near the town of Atar in northwestern Mauritania. Located within the Sahara Desert, the Adrar is an arid plateau known for its gorges, stony deserts and sand dunes. Cave and rock paintings show that this region was settled in the Neolithic era about 12,000 years ago — today, around 62,000 people live in the Adrar Region. /// Created by @dailyoverview, source imagery: @maxartechnologies
What’s your quarantine personality?⠀
I’m home fitness videos, redecorating my apartment rising 💫⠀
Isn’t it crazy how fast everything happened? Two weeks ago I was: employed (lol), planning to go on The Annual Vukelich Family Vacation™ with my dad in April (postponed 😩), training, planning, visiting friends and not worried about where my next toilet paper roll was coming from (SOS). But change happens and as much as we do our best to be our best, there are things that are out of our control. So, per usual, I’m rolling with it, making do with a wild situation and staying productive and positive ⚔️💪🏻⠀
(This was taken when I was free to roam, before the plague) ⠀

How are you all doing today?
These are some unsure times
As we continue to remain grounded I’m sure there’s a lot uncertainty and fear such as:
What am I supposed to do when this is the only way I workout?
How am I going to keep up my strength and endurance?
I’ve worked so hard to get where I’m at, what’s it going to be like when I return?
I want to help in any way I can so if you you have specific questions or concerns please reach out to me either by commenting or messaging me.
I hope everyone is staying well mentally and physically through all of this!
