Swipe left ⏪ to see the drill!
Player: Deijah, Quakes Academy ⚽️
A drill for everyone. Doesn’t matter what age or level you’re in, it’s a great way to maximize your touches, but most importantly, build a good relationship with the ball. The more confident you are in tight spaces, the easier it is for you to react in a game in tight situations.
Quick S/O to my good friend @r1ckycra1g for always capturing the moments at the lab! Check his page out and give him a follow!💯
It’s been a few hours since the Dortmund game but I’m still thinking about Reyna’s butter first touches. His level of control is so high and we need players like that on the USMNT desperately. Cannot wait to see him play with Pulisic and Adams in a US kit for the first time.
Honestly I’d put both the @USMNT and @USWNT in the mix. Every time they come up with something great, like the hoops jersey, they come back with something awful like the black/white/high liter kit or the Russia/Bomb pop kit.
1. Rank the following USMNT mangers: Jurgen, 2016-17 Bruce Arena and Dave Sarachan
2. You can only pick one player in his prime to start an MLS team. Who does you pick? Beckham or Donovan
3. Should the coach of the USMNT be required to speak fluent english? https://twitter.com/bsithepodcast/status/1267156331481317376 …
Amir Roque is a 16-year-old American left back/winger who is part of the Breakers Academy. This season Roque has played 11 games scoring 4 goals and assisting 7 which are quite impressive numbers especially since he mainly plays as a left-back.
STRENGTHS: Roque is a very good attacking full-back with some of the great skills needed to be a successful left-back in today’s game. Roque plays with flair and speed as he breaks the lines of the opposition charging down that touch-line. His dribbling is great as he can weave in and out of traffic. He adds skill moves to the dribbling to make himself a tricky nuisance. The 5’3 left-back is great at creating chances for his teammates and crossing the ball into his forwards which have contributed towards his 7 assists. He is creative with his passing as well which is a good skill to have as things won’t always be smooth sailing. He is a great tackler and has perfect timing on most occasions helping to win the ball back for his team. Roque also has brilliant decision-making as he knows when to go or when to settle the ball. This is a trait that will hold him in good stead for the future. He has quite good stamina as well which is why he is a great left-back.
WEAKNESSES: His strength is an issue as he is only slightly built but can ride challenges to emerge from contests in the best possible situation. He isn’t great in the air but that is given with his lack of size compared to his counterparts.
FINAL STATEMENT: Roque looks a very bright talent and could be a decent professional player in the States. He possesses good qualities for a left-winger more so than a left-back because of his size and skills but he could really thrive as a left-winger. He deserves a chance to play at an MLS academy and let’s hope he gets a chance to play there as I feel he will really benefit from it. He is the 2nd original ScoutingBalrs player to feature on the account. If you would like to possibly feature on the account like Amir pls send me a DM to maybe feature on the account.

anonymous baby can we hack into the usmnt and delete them
While he didn’t score, Sargent’s presence in the match was felt. Often times I saw him high pressing, gaining possession for his team, and connecting his passes in dangerous attacking areas. Now all we need to see is the Ginger score and he will be absolutely lethal. #USMNT https://twitter.com/sbisoccer/status/1267163715750825984 …
Today in #USOpenCup history (May 30, 2012): If you saw our Twitter thread yesterday (@usopencup), Round 3 was one of the all-time craziest rounds. On May 29, *7* #MLS teams were upset (1 by amateur team) & 3 survived some big scares. On May 30, there were 2 games & one was among the greatest upsets ever.
After winning road games vs. Kitsap Pumas (a rare pro team in the #PDL) and the Wilmington Hammerheads (#USL Pro), @CalFootballClub, led by head coach @EricWynalda, was given another road game, this time against Portland #Timbers of MLS.
#PTFC registered 37 shots & Cal FC managed to hold off them off, with Derby Carrillo making 15 saves over 120 mins. Cal FC received a gift in the 80th min. because Kris Boyd, the Scottish Premier League's (#SPFL) all-time leading scorer, skied a PK over the bar.
In the 95th min. Danny Barrera assisted Artur Aghasyan on the game-winning goal, making Cal FC the 1st Open Division Local (#USASA) team to not only score a goal vs. an #MLS team, but the 1st to eliminate one without needing PKs.
The upset got the world's attention, trending WORLDWIDE on #Twitter. It was a special round as the @FlintCityBucks (Michigan Bucks) upset #cf97 the day before as well. No amateur team has upset a #MLS team in the US Open Cup since.

The black community is hurting. Our state is hurting. And we as the people of this country continue to let it happen. No one was born hating another gender, religion, race, or any soul on the planet. As humans, we make mistakes often. Mistakes are crucial in learning to be better. But if we don’t learn from them to better ourselves, they are dumb mistakes. George Floyd may be the most recent innocent black man to lose his life, but he won’t be the last if we don’t put our differences aside and come together. There will always be good and bad people in any group, and you can’t let one aspect of them destroy your entire view of that group. At the end of the day, we’re all just trying to live our best life. I urge anyone reading this to be the best person you can be, and use your life to better the lives of anyone you can. When we lift each other up, it’s beautiful. There’s simply no place for hate here or anywhere. Treat each other well, don’t hold grudges, and stay humble and sympathetic. It’s beautiful.
Because it isn’t Minnesota “United” without ALL of us. 💙
