When people ask me why I only interview Black women entrepreneurs, I will refer them to this video from now on.
@badgalriri on Black women: “We are impeccable. We’re special and the world is just going to have to deal with that.” #DiamondBall

I made it to the Today Show! What a completely surreal moment talking about Side Hustle Pro on Live TV. Especially watching the highlight video they pulled together. To think my moments of mess would one day be pulled together into a beautiful montage and I would be asked to speak about it on live TV. I am still in complete disbelief! Thank you @hodaandjenna for having me. It was great chatting with you @sheinelle_o@akbar_gbaja @mattiseman! A big shoutout to producer Sean who discovered my podcast and reached out. I am forever grateful. Full @todayshow video link in bio 👆🏾👆🏾👆🏾👆🏾
ME GUSTA GENTE QUE ME INSPIRE Y DE LAS CUALES APRENDA. 🧐✍🏼
#YAsiLoHizo.
New podcast is live (LINK IN BIO): 🔥Check out my interview with Jets legend Mark Gastineau, who reminisces about the NY Sack Exchange and how they’ve reached out during his battle with cancer. #jets#spotify#spotifypodcast#nfl
Big things don’t just happen. Most times, it’s on you to take the initiative. To put your name on a list. To raise your hand in a class. To have the difficult conversation of why you’re deserving of a promotion or a raise. 💸
In those moments, it’s so important to be vocal and insert yourself in the conversation. Opportunities come up when you show up. Planting the seed sometimes doesn’t reap immediate rewards - but when a position opens up down the line or if business needs change, you might just be the person they think of. All because you said something.
You can do it all, but remember that you don’t *have* to do it all. It’s okay to take a breather, take a step back & realize that what you’re doing right now is enough!
@studiodiy reminds us of that in episode 022 of the #thrivebloggerpodcast!
“Women can do it all and no one should tell them otherwise. But what’s left out of that conversation is that you don’t have to do it all and not everyone is programmed to do it all. Nor, maybe, do they want to do it all.”
If you’re doing to do it, do it strategically and with a plan of action so you can avoid burnout and make it to the other side feeling accomplished. Listen in on Kelly’s episode to hear more about avoiding burnout!
