TOP 40 FAVOURITE PROJECTS #10
When it was determined that the routing for the new Regina bypass would bisect the existing Pacer Park Ball Diamond Facility, the City of Regina and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways initiated the Pacer Park Relocation Project. The project involved relocating the park approximately 2.5 kilometers north of the previous site so to maintain this major recreational facility for the public. Reopened on May 7, 2018, the park Relocation Project has maintained visitors’ access to 14 ball diamonds and 2 batting cages. The project included, site drainage, landscaping, roadway, parking lots, tree planting and provision for 4 future buildings on 22 hectares of land.
